Hm I wonder if the away motion in the tatsumaki input registering as a block during an enemy attack botches it?? They'd actually be kinda perfect for opening the Sagat fight if I could figure out how to make them work. He's just too far away to land a shoryuken before getting decked.

Also I have this growing suspicion that shoryukens and possibly tatsumakis are easier to pull off with heavier punches and kicks but can not imagine why that would be.

Lol fuck I had been wondering about this but couldn't really test it out but it finally happened. If the first two fights end in simultaneous knockouts and you lose the third it's a loss. I think I MIGHT have even lost had I won the third fight, since I think you have to WIN two out of three, but I didn't so that remains to be seen.

Only now does it occur to me that I don't need knockouts to win fights. I think both Chinese fighters, who previously have been giving me a little trouble each time, may be substantially easier if I just turtle in a corner trading a light jab for every attack I block, especially if I can open with a hadoken first to give me a lead. I do not however think that this will work against the Thai guys but I'm only halfway through this run so we'll see.

It definitely doesn't work on Adon lol.

I did at least learn that tatsumakis are actually pretty useful against Birdie at least. Who is generally very unpredictable and dangerous.

I gave up on 1 for now and BOY is 2 a lot easier, like a lot. It's so, idk, playable compared to the first one.

Vega is kinda dirty. Also Guile. World Warrior edition still. Shoryukens unfortunately STILL not fun especially now that they don't potentially knockout a healthy fighter in one punch. But at least now I can use someone else if I decide ryu actually just sucked all this time.

Hmmm if you time your jump attacks vs his so that you're higher than him when you connect you'll get the hit I guess that applies to everyone else too but he's just constantly jumping.

Also got a perfect nearly double perfect on Bison just now lol.

Daily fuck Vega no matter who I'm playing as. I hate to switch to Ryu for that fight every time when I'm trying to try out more characters. How are claws fair anyway and why can't I just put him in a headlock when he's climbing on the wall.

YOOOOO my first time beating 1 without button mashing. Hadokens may not win consistently against Sagat but they're a lot more effective than shoryukens fuck that shit.

unfortunately she's on the tail end of this DLC. Rose is next, then oro, then Akira. oro and akira might release at the same time tho.
