i think in general the average mini normal is skewed toward a different set of expectations and with this playerlist things were always going to be more townsided (which is not to say that people didn't play well etc etc)

there were 4 roles that could generate some form of guilty, whether soft or hard. knowing that those roles existed was of almost no benefit to us because we couldn't do almost anything about them. obviously this was compounded because town played well here but realistically, idk what could have been done differently, think of a better claim for skitter i guess but other than that...nothing

Honestly nothing will change until the NRG accept that actual win rates as a proxy for balance is a terrible, terrible, terrible, immensely flawed idea that obviously does not work and that they need to account for subjective experience of games (but they won’t do that because ~numbers~ and ~data~) (I like most-to-all of the NRG group individually, but as a group they are destroying any enjoyment to be had from normals)
