Shrouded in darkness, driving by instinct and an unusual connection, Frog had somehow managed to communicate silently with Crono, now was the time to strike.

One of the guards seemed to be panicked, running around the room either trying to cause a distraction, or catch the remaining Mystic in action.

Either way, it gave them their opening.

A glint of light appeared in Frogs sword, and Cronos Sabre as the two tapped into their latent magicks, and sprang forward, barely a second between them.

The two master swordsmen made their mark. Frogs Iron Sword striking hard and with dizzying precision, followed almost immediately by Crono's Steel Sabre slicing in the opposite direction. It was over as fast as it started, a red cross upon the ground where the two had tapped into their magical powers to propel them forward.

Frog looked back, expecting to see the now defeated form of Titus turn into a Mystic. She did not.

slump to the floor, a dagger placed so that not even Frogs' magic could heal the wound it had caused. Options were quickly running short...

In the future, one way to avoid easy breaking strategies is to use the AU (Alternate Universe) method, where you change something about the canon that completely screws with everything everyone thinks they know about the game (if 'y' instead of 'x' at juncture 'k', then 'd' 'e' 'f' instead of 'a' 'b' 'c', for example)
