Gameplay

1. The following vote formats are the de-facto standard on the site (aka votes should be enclosed with vote tags or bold tags. I don't care about caps/spelling/etc.)

   elimination
   is achieved when half plus one of the current number of living players are voting for the same player. If this does not occur by deadline, a No Elimination will occur -- there is no plurality elimination in this game.
   
5. Twilight is the time between the 'hammer' vote being cast and the beginning of the night phase. All living players, including the most recent elimination, may talk during this time.
   
6. Players' alignments will be revealed on death.
   
7. When killed, a player may make one informationless 'bah' post at the beginning of the next day phase and must be silent thereon until the conclusion of the game.
   
8. Please submit all night actions either via your private topic if you have one, or by PM if you do not.
   
9. If you have a night action and do not submit one, you will not take an action. I will not resolve your action on a random person.
   
10. Player List is ordered alphabetically by the initial players' names.
    
11. Role distribution is guaranteed to be random, determined with the aid of random.org

Deadlines

1. Day 1 will be exactly 10 days long. All further days will be seven (7) days long. Extensions may be granted at my discretion for what I feel are extenuating circumstances.
   
2. Nights will be exactly two days (48 hours) long.
   
3. Players will be given 48 hours to initially pick up role PMs, or they will be replaced.
   
4. Players will be prodded after 36 hours of inactivity during the day, excepting V/LA circumstances.
   
5. Failure to pick up a prod in 24 hours will result in replacement. Asking for replacement will result in replacement.

Setup

• This game is based on the video game Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Knowledge of flavor is not necessary to play this game, but this game will contain spoilers regarding the source material.
  
• The makeup of this game is known to be
  3 Mafia
  vs.
  10 Town
  . No other alignments exist in this game.
  
• In this game, all players may be classified as "Human" or "Demonic". What state a player is in may (or may not) affect what powers that player has access to - this will be signified by the ability being prefixed with "Human - " or "Demonic - ". If it lacks either of these, it is always in play.
  
• Unless otherwise specified, a player is considered "Demonic" if they have two or more shards, otherwise, they are classified as "Human". Players may start with 0 or more shards per their role.
  
• During the day, in addition to the normal elimination vote, players may also vote for a player to give a single shard to using HURT: Hurt Tags. This must be done before the elimination because elimination will end the day. While the vote to give a shard must take place before the end of the day, the shard will not be assigned to the awarded player until then. It is not compulsory to give a shard in this manner. There may be other ways to receive shards.

• Mafia explicitly may multitask in this game.

• At the beginning of every game day, I will publicly post a rough indication of the number of demonic players in the game, using one of the following ranges: Low (0-2), Medium (3-5), or High (6-8).
  
• Flips will be full role card, plus whether or not the flipped player was Human or Demonic at the time of their death.
  
• Mafia has specific rules regarding their win-con and factional action.
  All players should read the sample Mafia role PM!!!!
