Locke, Monarch, and Fleet (All friends of mine who more or less have no idea how to play mafia) had to vote for who the scum-aligned caller was on N3. All missed, it was Maple (another newbie).

Shutterbug (/Dice) were controlled by me and had no alignment. They were added to the setup solely for flavour, to more directly assist the newbies, and make scum newb's job a little easier.

On night one, mafia got to select their roles from a list (each can only be used once):

Hired Assassin - Performs Nightkills
Sharpshooter - Has a N3 gun, is strongman with it, can pass it around with unarmed mafia and it auto passes on death
Escape Artist - 1-X Bulletproof, unarmed

On night two, mafia got to send three N3 guns to three town.

additionally, mafia was informed town had no way of telling how many guns were sent nor who is killed by what on N3

Also there was some confusion about the Comms Expert (a daytime neighbourizer) --

When a Comms Expert dies, they grant all of the traits of their role to the still-living player they most recently targeted, including this transference ability. So it bounced from rousseau, to Galron, to Tetrina.

The Comms Expert can also add radio callers to their PT lasting two phases at a time

Ceph was planning to claim N3 vig, using my gun, and that's why he said his role was confirmable. But we ended up deciding with all the other guns given out N2 that that would look really sketchy, so we had to come up with something else "confirmable". Given the way Ceph was defending me but I obviously wasn't getting NK'd I made a lot of sense as a FN target from him, so we decided to go for it.

Also re: this post, I agree with you, MT. I was meaning that if all 5 callers were you (as I initially thought), that would be bastard. I take somewhat of an objection with you saying "both alignments" in the OP rather than "town and scum", as it implies there are only two, but I think it was reasonable enough. I wasn't paying enough attention to realize that Shutterbug hadn't said anything game-relevant.

I was scum for many reasons this game but I will maintain battleship was not one of them

I felt like you were having trouble gaining your footing in the game and you deciding to play battleship with me was very scummy but I couldn't scumread you for it cuz that would be highly against Bear Code.

I decided to defend SS hard because I thought I couldn't win an elo endgame, and because I thought defending my doomed partner very hard was very out of character for my scumgame so I was hoping it would look town if he did go down.

I'd say about half the reasons you had for suspecting me were the right ones (which is pretty good)
