You may not quote private communication of any kind into game threads, including from one game-related thread to another. This includes moderator-supplied information (either real or fabricated) of any kind, as well as posts from your lover PT. Paraphrasing is acceptable.
There is to be NO personal communication outside of game-related threads. You may not discuss this game outside of game-related threads created by me. You may not discuss any other ongoing games in this thread.
Do not post in any game threads following your death, with the exception of the dead thread.
Do not use encryption, hidden text or excessively small text in your posts.
Abusive or toxic behavior will not be tolerated. Personal attacks are not allowed. I have a lower tolerance than most and may give warnings or force replace players for abusive/toxic behavior at my discretion.
Breaking rules or pretending to break rules may result in moderator action.
Deadlines
Deadlines are 7 days for Day phases. There will be a 24 hour pause in between Day phases.
Deadline extensions are given only in extreme circumstances.
Voting
If at any time before the Day deadline, a simple majority of all living players are voting the same player slot, an elimination will occur (simple majority = ½ # of living players +1, rounded down).
This game uses
compulsive plurality eliminations.
If no one has reached a simple majority of votes by the deadline, the player slot with the most votes will be eliminated. If there is a tie, then the first player to have reached the tied number of votes will be eliminated.
Once an elimination has been reached, votes and unvotes will no longer be counted. Players may still post in the game thread until the thread is locked.
Votes must be bolded or use the [ vote] tags to be counted (e.g.
Vote: Player
or VOTE: Player). Vote tags are highly preferred.
Unvotes are not necessary before changing votes.
Spelling does not count; votes made using nicknames or abbreviations will be counted at my discretion. Fake vote gambits should be executed at your own peril. If I think it's a vote, then it's a vote.
Votes in spoilers will not be counted.
Activity
Prods of missing players will be issued after 36 hours of Day inactivity.
A prodded player has 24 hours to respond to the prod, after which time a replacement search will begin. The prodded player may re-enter the game so long as no replacement has been found.
A player who has been prodded 3 times is subject to possible replacement without further notice.
If you anticipate being unavailable for more than 36 hours, please PM me or post in the thread to declare V/LA.
I reserve the right to force replace players who need extensively long V/LA at my own discretion.
Naked prod dodges do not reset your prod timer. There must be game-related content in your post in order to prevent prodding.

Thanks for everyone's patience while I was on vacation. Since it's been a few days since the game filled, I'm expecting there to be potential replacement requests. The game will only start once everyone has confirmed their role PM. Anyone who hasn't confirmed in (expired on 2021-09-14 00:00:00) will be replaced.
Yeah I think we should claim. Mafia already know two of the pairs, which makes the last two fairly easy to guess, and not knowing lover pairs could confuse reads if lovers start defending each other

i wanted to eventually dive in and check out the past times this setup was run, is this something that ends up going well? i have no preference aside from subconsciously, since i figured that thread wasn't going to claim lovers
