You are a treasure hunter who was robbed of a million dollars cash by a local gang. You have learned the head of the gang is in the mall, and uses the code name Kingpin. You arrived by helicopter, and your helicopter is currently on the roof with an armed guard.

Goals

1. Find the Gang Leader 'Kingpin', and kill him in revenge
2. Find the one million dollars they stole
3. Find out how to get to the helicopter.
4. Get the one million dollars (and yourself) to your helicopter

You may need help moving that much cash.
You may optionally destroy the gang headquarters if you find it.

As alluded to in thread, some players are exiting the mall by train once done. You are not required to buy a train ticket. You must leave by helicopter. The helicopter seats 3 people and you may choose to take others with you to safety if you wish.

If I were to throw the grenade at someone, how would that combat resolve? Same question for trying to shoot someone with the tranquilizer.

Oh, one of the others may be Kingpin. It's a codename. That will make this a whole lot trickier.

The grenade would override any fight, and it will either damage or kill the person. They will still get given time to react in case they have abilities or items that might in someway nullify the grenade.

The tranquiliser works the same, but it will knock them out if successful. They will still be given time to react in case they have a means of avoiding it, deflecting it etc.

If someone else kills Kingpin for you, you will receive a variation to your goal. It could be something as simple as going an buying a celebratory drink, or finding his body to prove he is dead. Etc. This will change according to what happens and how it happens (Not much point in getting you to find the body, if somehow its been sent 5,000 years into the past (Not saying that could happen, I just wanted a stupidly extreme example ))

Can actions be taken in a way that other players who visit the room are not informed that I did it? For example, if I wanted to leave a written note behind in a room -- would there be a way to do this that doesn't reveal I am the one who left the note to all those who visit afterwards?

I think I found the answer -- I need to stay in the checkered area (eatery) for now.

You will be able to explore the bookstand, but we have put down a 12 hour wait for any choices so I have chance to talk with Captain Meme.

All phases bar the eatery will be in new threads, so you can do stuff with a reasonable amount of privacy, but be aware some rooms have cameras.

The pamphlet on Pentagrams suggests that if you need to deal with ghosts or demons in a hurry, arrange five items that are identical in a pentagonal shape, and draw red lines connecting the items. It suggest if you stand in the pentagram, you can order the spirits to leave you alone, or depart. It suggests if you get the spirit to stand in the pentagram, you will destroy it.

Is it possible to whisper a single sentence to another player, rather than set up an entire private thread? For example, if I wanted to say,

Would setting up a private thread be the only way?

You can do so only through a private thread unfortunately, as if you or charlie needed to be replaced, the replacing player needs to be able to review history, and this isnt accessible in PMs or by other means unfortunately.

You would retain the private chat thread for future usage.
