If you can get someone to shake a crystal that they have stolen, it will still work. Dont forget you have a mana based skill you can use too.

The big red demon cannot rescue her. There is no method by which she can be rescued. The best anyone can do is kill her.

There are other methods to get into the Storage area, including getting arrested.
