You can bind yourself to someone at night, for that night.
Anything that happens to that player due to actions at night(including visits and results), except conversions, also happens to you(but not the other way around). You will always know the people you visit.

Pregame you must choose between the following.

Take a Random One Shot power role.

Take the possibility of getting 5 random one shot power roles.

You may take both of these options or just the second one. If the Moderator predicts you to do the former or pick randomly, you do not get the set of 5. If the Moderator predicts you to just take the second, you will get the 5.

Each night, you may ask a yes/no question about the setup that would be answerable if the setup were fully open.

For example, you can ask if there are exactly X townies in this setup or not, whether there is a Doctor in the setup or not, if there are Aliens in the setup or not, if there are two groupscum teams in the setup or not, if there is a third party that ends the game if they win or not, if there is both a Cop and a Tracker in the setup or not, if there are either 4 non-town or a Role Redirector in the setup, or if there is either a non-town-aligned Roleblocker or a town-aligned Rolestopper in the setup or not.

Example Invalid Question due to not being yes/no: How many True Groupscum are in the setup?
Example Invalid Question due to mentioning a specific player: Does a specific player have a town-compatible wincon or not?
Example Invalid Question due to mentioning specific role cards: Was rolled in this setup or not?

Faction Introduction:
Doom Seekers


Doom Seekers have a factional fate of doom action. Each night, a player may be fated. A fated player who is targeted after they are fated will unavoidably die (this doesn't count the night they were fated). A fated player will unavoidably die two Nights after they were fated.

Doom Seekers enable the Doom Counter mechanic for ABLoAF games.

Doom counters are added in these scenarios:

+1 - Town player was targeted by a Doom Seeker's ability.
+1 - A player dies because of fate of doom.
-1 (as in remove a doom counter) - True groupscum or solo 3P player was targeted by a Doom Seeker's ability.

If a Doom Seeker dies, doom counters will be removed corresponding to how many Doom seekers were still alive plus 1. For example, if a Doom Seeker dies when there were 3 alive, 4 doom counters will be removed.

Doom Seekers win if the game ends with everyone dead, and also win if all threats to them are gone.

Doom counter effects (n is the number of Doom Seekers in the setup, n may not be less than 2):

-2n or less - Doom Seekers become unable to fate of doom and there is a 20% chance for all killing actions to fail.

-n or less - The mod flavor becomes motivational.

n or more - The mod flavor becomes creepy.

2n or more - Factional kills become Strong-Willed unless they are targeting Doom Seekers.

3n or more - There is a 20% chance for each Results PM to be consumed by the darkness, having the PM only say "
This Results PM was consumed by the darkness.
"

4n or more - A random non-Doom Seeker player is consumed by the darkness, disappearing without a flip and becoming unable to be interacted with even by dead interacting roles. This effect only triggers once in the game.

5n or more - Doom Seekers may act twice each night. The moderator posts "
The sky has melted into abyssal darkness. This is going to be a wretched night.
"

Solo Introduction:
Zalith, The Last Occultist

Factional Ability: Once per game at night you may choose to immortalize a dead player, reviving them and turning them into a Vessel.
Alternatively, during the night you may choose to protect one of your Vessels.
Win Condition: Kill each player who won't submit to your demonic authority. (Non-Vessels and Non-Benign players)
Additional Information: At the start of the game, you may choose up to 2 players to become Vessels.
  • While you still have 2 living Vessels, you are treated for action resolution as though you are an illegal target.
  • While you still have at least 1 Vessel, if you would die, you may instead choose one of your Vessels to die.
  • You know the roles and factions of your Vessels, and may force your Vessels to use a specific ability they have access to on a specific target. Additionally, you may choose to have a Vessel kill a player. This is a multitasking ability.
  • Vessels are considered to be the same alignment as you for all but wincon

You passively remove one doom counter each night. Even if the count would go negative.
This enables the Doom Counter mechanic.
If you get executed set the number of doom counters to 5N if it is lower.
If you are aligned with the Doom Seekers you instantly die after getting this Role PM and set the number of doom counters to 3N(do not reduce the number of doom counters due to you Doom Seeker death).
If you otherwise die set the number of doom counters to 0 if it is lower.

Whenever you target a marked player, you will gain a random 1-shot invention from a random active role in Alignment Baked LoAF.

1 player will randomly gain the "Marked" role, which makes them marked (Anyone visiting a marked player will learn that the player is marked.) from the start of the game.

Each night, you may check a player. You will be informed of whether your check attempt on that player succeeded or not.

Yeah 200 was the arbitrary number I wanted to hit before I considered this to have a diverse enough set of roles to be run.

Feel free to add to your heart's content. IIRC you had added a pretty cool groupscum faction and this is designed to be accommodating to any number of new factions.

Armed with slingshots and a sack full of paintballs, the Playground Bullies are out to cause mischief and have fun doing so.

Factional Ability
: Paintball
At night, you can choose a target to splatter with paintballs. Select a target and an alignment. The target will appear as the chosen alignment to investigative roles for the rest of the game. The chosen alignment does not need to be present in the game. The target will not be informed that they were painted. In addition, if the target is using an investigative ability, they are roleblocked the night you target them (but not on subsequent nights, unless you target them again). This is not a killing power so it not protected by the doctor, but a bodyguard will take the hit for the target as if it was a kill. If a Painted player is doused, the paint is removed from that player.

Factional PT
: Clubhouse.
NOTE
: Pre-game, the Playground Bullies must decide on a passphrase, consisting of 1-5 words. If any player says the passphrase in the main thread, they gain access to the Clubhouse.

Win Condition
: If all living players are either Painted or Playground Bullies, they win and leave the game.

(Note that since this post is a faction introduction it should be treated as "Vanilla" if rolled for a role.)

Reroll before picks, and add a Mason-type role


This result is rerolled after rolling this result before picks and has a Mason-type role added to the result.

The Mason-type role corresponds to a random groupscum faction in the game.

Mason Feasibility Clause
(optional, but a good idea for collaborative decks imo): All Mason-like and Neighbor groups have an extra member rolled randomly out of eligible players (this adds to their role). This is to ensure Mason-likes and Neighbors don't end up being named roles by accident. This doesn't apply to Masonizer or Neighborizer type roles that can add players to their Mason-like or Neighbor groups.

Heralds

Heralds were once part of the regular town force, but disliked how the townies sometimes turned against one of their own, so they decided to take matters into their own hands.

Factional Abilities: On each given night,
Heralds
may either choose to kill someone or use a super-shield which would prevent all living players from being killed.
If a town player was limmed on any given day,
Heralds
may choose to put anyone who voted to eliminate that player in a jail cell. While players are in jail cell, they will not be allowed to vote for the next day phase (example: If they limmed a town on Game day 1, they would be unable to vote for the duration of the Game Day 2), but they will be untargetable by anyone other than members of
Heralds
faction.
Heralds
cannot jail anyone for two consecutive phases in a row.
