The Curse of Kowhai Mall - Phase 4: Carpark

Let’s start with just the ones on the right side of the main aisle. Start with the Chevy and go forward to the hearse. Zigzag forward and then backward until I get to the Suzuki. Nothing on the left half yet.

As you move car to car, using your crowbar to jimmy open petrol caps, you arrive at the police car, and do the same. You hear a voice in the background yelling you to drop to your knees. As as you are read your rights, at gunpoint, a female officer loads you into the back of the cop car and leaves you there.

She walks away, with you locked in the car. She is talking into her mobile, and walks almost out of sight.


You can see on the front seat some kind of Dossier and a police radio, but you cannot reach it from the back as there is a metal grill in the way.

Climb into the front seat
Take the dossier
Exit the police car quietly
Get in the hearse, shut the hearse doors quietly and lock them
Hide in the coffin

You hide in the coffin, with the dossier for reading (Just gotta check your inventory count first before I continue)

Is it bright enough to read in there? Fancy coffin.

The lid must be ever so slightly ajar, to avoid suffocation. Can't have corpses dying on you.

Resume sniffing fuel doors: Finish up the right half with the Suzuki, then continue to the GMC and keep following the same pattern EXCEPT SKIP the Toyota and the Maserati.

The sky is dark and foreboding. You see nothing of real interest. If there ever was a UFO here, its not here now.

Talk to Toyota driver

"So these crystals... they wouldn't happen to be red and blue, would they? Because I saw this wild red and blue crystal."

"Yes I would pay good money for an unshaken Red and Blue Crystal. I'll give you a 100 dollars right off, if you have one"

“I don’t have one, but I know where I can get one. But you’re gonna have to tell me what’s the deal with these things before I take that kind of risk.”

“Alright alright, the crystals are of alien origin. They can be programmed to teleport people, but where we don’t know. I dont even know what distance they teleport people. Maybe people travel a few meters, maybe a few hundred, or maybe to Andromeda. They are slightly visible in the dark, and very visible under UV light. I want one so I can study one”

“Whoa… aliens? My aunt Myrtle said she saw an alien once but honestly I didn’t really believe her. What about you? Ever get closer to aloens than these crystals?”

"Nope. Never seen an alien. Heard a rumour there was a UFO out here in the carpark the other day, but security took it into storage to keep the space clear for customers. Find that, and you might find a crystal. Find that and I will pay 200 dollars"

“Er… because I could use that $200.”
