What was the intent behind the parachute game's design *exactly*

Was it actually to show restraint and only take chutes for universally agreed town and kill everybody else? was it supposed to be a whoever has the most time to burn wins game?? That event actually killed me off

I really liked the dance and gganbu and trust fall and basically everything that happened except for that flippin parachute game

remember when MT asked me to be a member of team trying.
But the clown in me couldn't accept it

the easiest protown way to play that was:

agree on a set of people who were poe

those people dont grab chutes

nobody grabs chutes for them


then discuss elims after everyone is chuted up

instead it turned into a clown vs tryhard competition

which was really masterful imo for the scum to pull off

firebringer uniting team clown to go head to head with team tryhard was probly one of the best scumplays ever

it totally changed the dynamic of the game state from one where an all town team caught the scum flat footed to one where the scum had a fighting chance

as soon as clown team broke up the game was lost for scum. Which was funny cause i was originally going to lead clowns to buss my teammates to hell to get enough towncred to destroy team trying. or at least that was an idea i had.

i really wanted the idea being no scum in clowns and avengers which seemed to only work in getting avengers to be thought of as a total town team

it's honestly crazy that my town flip didn't do more for that read. i explicitly said that even if every single one of my reads was wrong, this would be the one that was right. i was THAT confident. that means something!!!

I think the downside was that you didn't factor in everyone signed up to PLAY in the game, not to watch it from the dead thread (Well, "everybody" is a loose generalization, because obviously 2 or 3 didn't)
