Okay, so let's say gunsmith has two innos. Then with their claim, we would get to a lim pool of 6 and 4 confirmed town.

How did you get to the bolded? Did you assume the Vig would shoot the GS target? Because if not we still get a 4th confirmed Townie.

Mislim today we go into night as 4-4-1. Vig misses and is killed = 4-2-1. Vig misses and GS is killed = 3-3-1.

Another mislim takes us down to 4-1-1 or 3-2-1. If Vig is alive and gets another shot we emerge as 2-1-1 at worst. If Vig was already killed 3-0-1 it is.

I'd take those odds any day and claim if I was GS.
