this is for fun and rehab for all the trauma we all endured to get here.

if u have problems with someone we can deal with that by calmly discussing it, not sniping at each other, though in my experience its not ever gonna be a calm discussion so probably just best to avoid that.

Harley, if you have problems with players and how they played u know especially with people u already have very high contention with constructive feedback of things to do to people u think played poorly is better than just saying you shouldn't make X mistake or ignored Y. Not everyone sees game like you, so how will they know next time that they should listen to Y, or how does voting X a mistake here. Also again people don't understand other peoples metas like you do, so if yo uare offering improvements there, it won't likely help to tell them they should know your understanding of meta. If you think they could improve on meta knowledge or exposure good fine.

The listening to X part is a difficult thing to ask because the person they ahve to be listening to usually has to have proven track record of being right on X for it to be of merit to people, and most peoples true track records are complex and usually a texas sharpshooter fallacy, if you think X made good arguments then its usually better to rely on those good arguments than saying X is right. Unless X has good track recrod on Y or has general tendency of record.

Anyways, thats my long piece on that. I am gonna go workout.

This game was fun

Expressing my opinions clearly and well, is and continues to be unfortunately the bane of my mafia existence. It’s always crystal clear in my head but I often struggle to explain it as clearly as I see it. I just get it but especially when I get tunnelled, it makes doing that even harder than it otherwise would be.

Hectic had a game where we could only communicate with animal sounds but I’d definitely /in for that.

You could design a really cool setup too, like have curious George either be watcher and have Alice be some variation of survivor. Goldilocks could be motion detector. Bluebeard gf, Cinderella. BrightEyedFish, Ariel.

I know, title it Goldilocks and the Three Pookys or something.

I know you were joiking but I’m absolutely serious. It really would make for an awesome design concept.

To be honest, this game made me realise just how bad my memory is.

That’s probably my greatest strength playing mafia. My short term memory is absolute garbage but I probably have - hands down - one of the best long term memories on the site. I literally caught scum that way in a game by recalling a game almost three years’ old where scum did a very similar thing and I turned out to be right about that.
