I thought the message from the dead role was pretty sweet. I wish I had played it better. I sent to Ceph and then to Mastina, and they passed it along correctly. I will hand it to Dunn when he said we needed to take risks. He was right. I should've lied in the message and guiltied someone. And the last one I sent to Bears, but they were shot, so whatever. I should have gotten myself killed earlier in the game. I think it would've been a more powerful and influential use of that role.

Thanks for the game, Cakez. It was very well modded.

I'm sure it's been discussed before, but this is the nth time I've been in a game being modded by someone I'm playing with in another game. That's especially problematic when I am scum in either game. Is there an existing conversation about that somewhere? I'd like to check it out.

I don't think so, but you can always make a thread in mafia discussion.

It's a complicated topic, people approach it all different kinds of ways. I think there is an official line though.

But it has been complicated somewhat by different moderator's opinions on it, I think one time I was told I just needed to forcefully forget it and pretend I'm not playing simultaneously, but I didn't know what to do with that because I can't give myself amnesia.

You need to release my pt as well
No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.

It was a good game, Cakez. I liked the colour although I didn't know it.

I wish I had been killed earlier, and I'm thinking I should've played it that way. Norwee was right in that my role was useful only from the Dead Thread.

Oh yeah, being scum in two different games at the same time is
incredibly
rough.

The playerlist overlap made it borderline impossible for me to figure out the optimal play in both games.

Do I play the same way in both games at the same time and risk going down in both the moment I go down in one?

Or do I play in exact opposite ways, but make the players suspect that I am scum in at least one of the games, in the hope that my scumflip in one will clear me in the other? (This is what I opted for btw.)

It's incredibly damn hard.

(Hilariously enough, I ended up killing LLD N2 in both games. So apparently, I'm not scum if LLD dies N1 or lives to D3, but I AM scum if LLD dies N2... :shifty: :P)

I have often pondered that topic myself. What is the right choice in terms of “play to win”?

playing more than one game at a time is always gonna constitute some degree of out of game influence.
i'm sure it's rough as scum, but arguably worse for town if one os serious about sticking to the spirit of site rules.
i just solve it by not having multiple games running at the same time.

It's easier when you are always town, speaking from experience.
