what's wrong with 8p though, imo even-numbered player counts are more pleasant to play because fascists need to convince two liberals instead of only one

Context matters a lot; stuff is always going to be more innocent-sided irl because reading people is easier. It also depends on how familiar people are with the game, and whether they prefer to play based on reads or math.

Regardless, I definitely believe that 8p is more fun. If I were really concerned with EV instead of enjoyability I'd be playing resistance or traditional mafia.

I think this format gives liberals more tools than just an average sh.com game and it's basically impossible at even reasonable level of play for fasc to win 8p if liberals understand what they're doing unless they just get lucky with the deck which isn't really my jam.
