Game info
  • This game is normalesque in feel and flavor, but can't run in the normal queue.
  • There may be some separation between mafia- and werewolf-aimed abilities. For example, there may be a Doctor that only protects against mafia kills.
  • Alignment assignment and role design had a random element; as a result, the setup may break certain common assumptions, such as the idea that a neighborhood cannot be composed entirely of members of the same scumteam. The first game featured a Mafia Miller.
  • In order to increase the value of day play in multiball, this game has more scum but fewer nightkills than the first game. The faction sizes are 14:4:4:1, but each scumteam is only allowed to kill 2 nights out of each 3. If a team submits kills nights 1 and 2, they may not kill night 3, and so on.
  • The alignments that can exist in this game are
    Town
    ,
    Mafia
    ,
    Werewolf
    and
    Malefactor
(only one; wins when the town loses).

Rules

1. Obey all MafiaScum site rules and rules that are common to all mafia games. If you are unclear on what this means, see the site rules. I will not bother to list here any rules that are covered there.
2. My color is violet (#8040FF). Please do not use it.
3. Please use bold or vote tags for votes to help me find them. The golden rule on this is, if I think it's a vote, then it's a vote.
4. Please do not ask me questions in the thread. Use PMs. However, it's OK to point out any vote tabulation mistakes I make in-thread. I am really bad at vote counts and I apologize for that in advance.
5. Prod timer is 48 hours without posting. If you do not respond or post within 24 hours of a prod I will search for a replacement. I may also search for a replacement if you chronically require prodding. A player who returns before I find a replacement is welcome so long as the replacement was for activity. Requested replacements may not be cancelled once I have posted it in the game thread.
6. If you know you may not be able to post for a period of time, please inform me via PM or post in this thread as to how long you expect to be unavailable. If you want to post about "limited access but I'll still be posting," you can, but I don't really care.
7. Claiming scum with another player in a manner that could be taken as serious is not allowed. If it is extremely clear that you are not serious, I am personally fine with that, but if you're not sure, just don't.
8. Day Deadlines in this game are 2 weeks long.
9. Eliminations in this game require a simple majority (50% rounded down plus one) of votes. If deadline is reached without any player getting enough votes, there will be no elimination and we will proceed to Night.
10. When a player is eliminated, they (as well as other living players) may continue to post until I lock the thread.
11. Once I declare you dead and flip your role, don't post unless your role specifically allows it.
12. Night phases last 48 hours. I will expedite this if all living players PM me stating their desire to end Night early.
13. Submit night actions to me via PM, or in your scum PT if you are scum. Scum players may submit actions for each other; if there is a disagreement about the use of powers other than the factional kill, the player whose ability it is wins.
14. I can provide a personal PT for you to take notes in if you wish. Just PM me. I will not release notes PTs without your permission. Please don't submit any night actions there as I will probably not read them.
15. If all living players PM me stating their desire to declare the game a draw, the game will be a draw.
16. Don't try to exploit any loopholes in these rules.
17. Play to your win condition.

Game-specific Information

  • This game features two scum factions. Their win conditions are not compatible to allow a joint win, and there is no such thing in this game as a draw between only certain factions. There is also a single third party role called the malefactor. Its win condition is "You win when the town loses." This player is not informed of any antitown players' identities, nor vice versa.

  • Alignment assignment and role design had a random element; as a result, the setup may break certain common assumptions, such as the idea that a neighborhood cannot be composed entirely of members of the same scumteam. If you find yourself thinking the mod would never make some particular role town or scum, you are probably wrong.

  • Prior to alignment randomization, Vanilla Townie was a possible role in this game. Whether this is still the case is left as an exercise for the reader.

  • The alignments that can exist in this game are
    Town
    ,
    Mafia
    ,
    Werewolf
    and
    Malefactor
    .
townieYou are a
Vanilla Townie
.

Your only ability is to vote to eliminate players during the day.

You win when all mafia and werewolves are gone.

Role PMs are out. Please confirm. We will start when I arbitrarily decide we have enough confirmations.

OK, let's get this show on the road!

It is now Day 1. With 23 alive, it takes 12 to politely ask someone to leave.

Ego.
Show
The scum had the misfortune of Titus being absurdly accurate on day one.Really quite impressed by that.~Drixx

You're letting Titus win the game by herself.Good luck now I guess. You have no chance to win.~Tywin

Omg it's boo tao.
Norwe is spontaneous, has a stream-of-consciouness posting style, usually posts on catch-ups by commenting on past pages posts, gets rather fired up in certain moments in games, is relatively as playful as me in games and likes casual shitposting
