Sorry Clidd. Unfortunately my scum style is killing people like you day 1. You seemed chill and you might've prevented the wrecks that were day 2 or 3. Also why I liked the Alex kill.

I go after the people who are more likely to stop stuff going out the window and leave people like Vivax, Cres, and Corwin alive even if they're confirmed town because they kinda create enough conflict that this stuff happens.

It's unfortunate, I tried to get Viv back in the game D3 and Cresc's reaction was just like "Yeah no, I'm gonna shitpost all over this too now". Honestly felt like a loss at that point.

I am curious if there was any reasoning to the NM kill.

You probably could have gone vivax and made the same play here. She did a whole lot to burn her town cred starting with 1520 or whatever it was dictating what town should do day 3 and resolving the night action for scum. It was an incredibly AT play she should have gotten launched for... and then adding fuel to the fire instead of bringing vivax back into the game day 3. I figured it was one of you two, but by the time we got here it was a coin flip for me.

Her logic on launching gibus first was absolutely god awful also. If we'd flipped you D3 it was an easy win from there too.

To be fair, it took Gibus 2 whole days to actually counter my case of a scum him and I put in a bunch of effort day 3. I don't blame her or Eira for going for Gibus first there.

Scum got unlucky with that excellent shot night 1, but we did too with a string of hits on the power rolls.

but....the game effectively came down to boring out town until you made a mistake. It isn't fun to play as scum like that, there is no agency for us, we aren't doing anything.
Sorry if i made things uncomfortable, i did lose interest as the game went on and my posting went down. just so happened that i think that helped.

Day 1, i was overacting in my response to Crescent, but i was actually baffled with the level of aggro i was getting. it was just awkward being scum and all that it was justified.

Game was very difficult to play with Not Mafia and Vivax, if one of them had been scum i think this game would have been unwinnable for Town. as it was i felt boxed in quickly because Town were making very good cases on who the pairs were and with my partner's claim they should have been on a very very short life expectancy. Gibus suddenly returning to the game and paying attention should have won it for town.

I had assumed i had lost by the end game, the dead thread says as much and the killing of not mafia was just a wild attempt to confuse the remaining town.

I still don't get what your plan was this game Owen. You were about to get launched if it wasn't for Cres and some others going after George at the last second. If you didn't hammer you probably would've not gotten shot by Alex either by his own admission.

Honestly I kind of thought his quick hammer there was kinda the right play? You guys don't know who he is so there's already risk that he either gets shot at night or elimmed the next day, I think potentially sacrificing himself to take out a town PR isn't horrid play. He also didn't 100% know for sure that there was a vig (although town detective kind of implies that). He maybe could've done a less scummy looking hammer and I'd have had to think more about who I shot but I think doing what he did wasn't objectively bad or anything.

Yeah I guess in hindsight it wasn't that bad. If he justified it with "it's a fake claim" like Cres was doing it would've been better tho. I guess me randomly defending there had already doomed the George slot. Eh. Another universe it probably happened that way.

The execution was between me, George and Corwin and I was going to be asleep for a lot of the time towards deadline. I think Corwin would have been the more likely back up execution if George got out of it but taking out a confirmed PR and risking night actions felt like the safer play than hoping that I wouldn't wake up in the morning with myself facing execution. But yeah I should've tried to make my hammer look a bit better, that was just me being impulsive.

Btw 145 was my attempt at a traitor signal, I guessed later on that it wasn't successful.

Well, no problem. I expected the reason to be something like "you guys thought I was PR", but looking at it from the social angle (and considering what happened after D1), yeah, your explanation makes more sense.
