Looking at the settings, I don’t think I could do this. The only options are the 10 yard ranges and the fractional scoring thing…I suppose I could combine them and, say, add 1.1 to 10-19 yard FGs so that you get at least 2.9 for a short kick, but then you’d have a discontinuity somewhere (since a 19 yarder would score more than a 20 yarder, or if you added a bonus for 20-29 then a 29 would be more than a 30).
Did some googling. I believe 17 yards is shortest field goal possible should you have nerve to kick it from inch line. With that in mind I think my earlier point is unlikely to effect the outcome of many games. So perhaps I worried too much earlier.

Kilga had L1 commish powers when the league got auto-renewed, so once we talk through what we're going to do, the league invite will be sent to new teams in L1. Same thing with L2 once I figure out what the deal is there, not sure what's happening with that league.
