i have some fairly recent scum games on MU if that's what ur looking for lol

north pole oligarchy is actually a good frame of reference since i was also mafia in that game and went out of my way to protect my partners for the first few dayphases until it became mechanically necessary on like ...d3/d4 to start bussing them lol

that's specifically why i was referencing it cuz it's a modified version of this setup and i think the particularities of it being multiball with a team with no nightkill necessitates different strategy than in other setups


all i remember was subbing in, gutreading matt off a few posts but being unable to articulate it, you catching me and me subbing out cuz i dcouldn't keep up and didn't want to drag super down. apparently you ended up getting nightkilled in that game becaue you took a risk with the kill list but were too towny?

if you think that i spent the first two dayphases of this game hardpushing and hardbussing both of my mafia partners in a setup where bussing would be explicitly against my win condition, then you're just insulting my wolf game tbh

because there is no one else in this game putting in even a mild amount of effort, which means it would be extremely easy (and likely optimal) for him as mafia to lurk & blend in with the rest of the thread, like literally every other player is doing. he is putting effort into solving the game at a point where it would be very easy for him to get away with not doing so as mafia, which indicates to me that his solving is coming from an authentic place and that he is playing from an uninformed perspective

it's always possible that he's a mafia/wolf trying to hunt for the other team but in that world i think his solving would look less "pure" and a bit more informed than it currently does. im not like, superbly confident about him being town, but i think he's demonstrably one of the towniest people in the thread right now

this is kind of a thing where i was so desperate in the game that i didn't want to question my defenders

but I'm fairly sure you know I take pride in my scumgame and am the reigning don corleone on here
