Everyone played really safe I think, so it was hard for this to be swingy.

I thought CCing vengeful on Day 1 was the right move to deny town any full clears but in hindsight it was a misplay. It kept me from ever getting elimmed when that should have been the goal, but none of us really had any idea how to play this.

Wasn't really a fan of the setup, it felt like we couldn't have any real strategy and we needed too many mis-elims to win. The roles just weren't that interesting and Day 1 massclaim was optimal and boring. Without the paranoia of alignments changing it doesn't have the main feature of what a cult setup is supposed to be.

Agreed, this was a thoroughly boring game and I'm surprised I managed to muster up any sort of effort in the end game.

Mass claiming definitely killed the game, even though it's optimal.

i do agree this setup was just super boring. i think the forced plurality also made it super boring. if town can just like… not actually vote and still rob cult of converts that’s just like, making this game even more townsided.

Yeah I shouldn't have enforced plurality I completely forgot and once I'd written it in the rules it was too late to change.

I really liked the setup, I think because we never managed to get me or Jacket voted out one of the most fun mechanics (conversion) never happened. But regardless the outcome was less than certain right until the last day. Thanks for modding Goldfish!
