It depends.
If I know you from somewhere, then maybe yes. Otherwise, I can't say if it would or would not.

I'm not gunna blacklist you, I've tolerated this before. I'm okay with accepting the behavior in non-newbie games but own opinion isn't even one about ego. it's simply pointing out that mathematically it wasn't a good play. I understand you value performance and quality of play and I engaged you from the perspective of someone concerned with that. You stated you outted scum after the play (Nancy and Noraa?) but as mentioned, it was just a subjective opinion based off of some assumptions which turned out to be wrong. Which makes sense to me, since there isn't much like evidence to support the assumptions. If your goal is to be a good player, level-headed play and objectively evaluating the risk you take on with each action or decision you make, seems like a good approach to me. I could be wrong though. I'm not a very good mafia player myself. :P

oh, you guys are talking about the best bird thing.
I keep writing something that can be chalked up to "I hope they said it from an emotional place and aren't going to act on that"
even though it's tricky to enforce.

Like, imagine you were looking forward to a D&D game and the DM really doesn't like you so they go out of their way to make your experience miserable.
Don't do that to others, golden rule, treat others how you want to be treated, be nice to people, understand that everybody has their own histories and experiences etc, etc.

I think me around for another day or two would have changed a lot.

Hard to tell what ifs.

It’s a weird situation all around.

I know that it is hard to imagine what all would have gone differently if Taly had been hammered with Bell's -- But I don't think that it would have actually bought you much, if any, time. The hammer happened before you made any of the posts that made you look unpartnered with Taly, so if it had locked up then those would never have come.

That being said, you did a great job of not looking partnered with Taly there!

@Drap -- just wanted to also throw my two cents into the ring on your fake guilty.

You seem to think that the scum team having to kill someone other then you is a +town scenario, but turning your own death from a night kill into a day kill is -town. Scum kills always land on town. Day Eliminations are the town's only chance to kill scum.
  • You moved the scum kill from townie A (you) -> townie B,
And then the day Elimination form Maybe Scum -> Yourself, guaranteed town from your POV.
You deprived the town of a possible scum elimination by making yourself be eliminated. And you seemed to think that it outed Nancy as a wolf, but that was even proven false, so the benefit you thought you got was not even real.

Just... push C/G next time. Like, they were fairly likely to have died then anyways lol

As a small note, posts like this on day 1, when you are very unlikely to be the night 1 elimination, can definitely contribute to you getting roleblocked night 1.

The moment you claimed to be blocked night 1, I remembered these posts lol.

I don’t think he was ready to hear it. It will only work to help him when he’s ready

I hope butterflies flipping town helps him.

And as for that, maybe Taly flipping then changes things. But I would also get two days to recouperate from covid and maybe I don’t suck as bad and maybe Bella isn’t guiltied,

It’s too hard to tell with what ifs so unless I can learn from it I try not to focus on it.

Ah.

When I read your comment on the Day 1 elim, I jumped to the conclusion that you thought your distancing from Taly would have bought you a few days in the thread, similarly to how people wanted to townbin Taly after your flip, and I realized that the hammer actually came before all of that distancing.

If that was not your intent, feel free to ignore

It was my intent

But right around that time was when I had covid hard. I never could get back to reading and I was drowning 90% of the time.

I still think Taly would buy me time regardless of flip because either A) distance or B) more mental acuity/health hopefully

The reason Drap couldn’t get a guilty was because scum had Yeet do most of the kills.
