June and May are both post surgery for me if they're happening in 2023 (assuming everything stays on track...) so May is a definite out because it's like 3 weeks after. June is slightly more likely to be okay but I'm gonna be confined away from much physical strain

I think it's a hard maybe for me since this is happening in america and I'll be doing other travelling in the first half of 2023 as well (family vacation + hopefully/probably eastermeet)

Probably prefer Memorial Day to the others since that’s the one I actually get time off work for, but it’s still early enough that I don’t know for sure yet

I think I could make any of those work, however I would need to know probably before December as my job plans out vacation days for the year soon after my benefits open enrollment happens and I'm 100% sure I won't get all of those weekends off.

I feel pretty confident locking in june. Not sure about the exact week or length but it seems like the overwhelming response is that june is better for folks.

UPDATE:

I have secured the location for this.

Our dates will be June 15-20th.

Schedule:

Thursday 15th: Check in at 5pm. Hang out, relax. Grab dinner in town.
Friday-Saturday-Sunday: Game on. Targeting FTC for the evening of Sunday.
Monday: Chill day, board games, maybe do something in town, hang out.
Tuesday: Checkout 11am.

Location:

Granger, IN. Short drive from South Bend, IN, which is the closest airport.

sbn is $$$ and while chicago or grand rapids are naturally cheaper there's a bit of time to figure out if me/a group of people would be willing to carpool from either place if it made sense to cause both are 110 miles away.
