TOWNSIDEDNESS QUANDARY:
i think we landed on this not being townsided and also not being all that good for town. lets look at the town roles.
-novice disloyal vigilante: this is a really great role. its novice though. but i think if it were ungated you'd expect it to be better strength in a large than a mini
-even night doctor tracker: this is good, but combining doctor and tracker doesn't really help. those roles want to target opposite people... kind of. i think i'd rather have full doctor or full tracker than it by a pretty comfortable margin
-novice joat: partially this is a role that will look wolfy. it did. i want to say approximately 0.8 votes on the furtive wagon were earned by the fact that the role sounded like a scum role. (multiple people seemed gently swayed by it from memory)
-two rolecops: these are not very high utility. in the tier list (shouldnt this be in a more visible place? lol) we have rolecops close to the bottom, and that's with the understanding that sometimes they give full alignment information which they do not do here. in fact they are like barely >0 utility here, the one thing they can do is catch fakeclaims from mafia (if they do do them) which is possibly useful against the loyal bodyguard (which in turn sounds like a town role, so that makes it bad).
-voyeur: this is also in that very low usefulness tier. literally the only significant thing it interacts with is also the bodyguard. koba dealt with this interaction already by saying they visited pooky. that was cool. i think theres a lot of random circumstances where you might have to do something special with this, for example if you get pinned down to visiting someone while being tracked you have to figure out whether you're going to go 1-for-1 with a town or get a parity result on your partner. i think you pretty much always do the first thing? but thats not actually fully obvious

i say this bc enchant said the setup is townsided. in any case, the setup in the current game is not townsided. i think town has like a 5% chance of winning and i say that with two mafia slots vacant. right now it is 3v8, really only two town roles exist that matter, and BOTH OF THEM HAVE CLAIMED!!!! you can just SHOOT them in the order that they could possibly take actions. you Kill them. they Die. they Don't Act Anymore. not mafia gets one vig shot that he probably won't claim in advance and then the game is mountainous

there's some extent to which i dont understand what you're arguing here but it made me worry that i like added some kind of loyal to a role without remembering or something. anyway, you should take this as an example of purely creating information out of nothing. voyeur is a near-useless role, and given that everyone is literally claiming, does not have any pro-scum usage At All!!!! for a mafia that has the role. which means the only reason to use the role in a certain way as scum would be to "deep wolf" as you say, but what i would mean by that is literally just use the role in roughly the way a townie would, to roughly seem like town. what you're doing here is like one step removed from just being like "ok you're a visitor? i'm a tracker. i'll track you and if you visit marcistar i'll assume you're town and if you visit pooky i'll assume you're mafia. got it? don't mess this up buddy i'm counting on you!"
