hello. this is the signups thread for a game I designed in July 2019. I really like designing setups that some people might call

there are sentences in the role PMs to this game that are much, much dumber than that.

I designed this setup with the intention of just flushing all the dumbest ideas I had out of my brain, and then I sat on it for three years. it's finally time to unleash my biggest mistakes on you all.

this setup was reviewed by the worst in May of this year. (when designing a setup three years in advance, it's important to include ample time for the reviewed game to germinate.) exactly one change was made to one role as a result of that review.

under no circumstances will any of you ever learn what that one change was.

here are a few more quick notes you should know about this game: first, Korina is the co-mod. second, no hydras, please. third, you should assume that anything described in the standard list of "bastard mod" things could be present in this game. fourth, by default this game will not have any deadlines, but I reserve the right to institute deadlines at my discretion if player activity becomes a problem. fifth, while reviewing this game, the worst noted that it might make sense to offer an advisory that mass claims may end poorly.

I'm worried I went too hard on the "there will be some nonsense in this setup" in the first post and I scared people off. there will be some nonsense, yes, but the nonsense is all part of a cohesive and interesting design that I can't wait for you to experience.

I think the reason that this isn't filling is b/c of the no deadline thing. So you might want to rethink that.

the thing with both that and hydras is those were very much decisions made at the setup design level; I've had multiple games where either a lack of deadlines or very weird deadline mechanics were part of the game, and I want people to be able to think about my meta as a setup designer while playing this one. if I change things like that, then you can be sure that that's

Well it’s a shame then because I much prefer hydras especially in large games. I basically suck at them, especially when I play solo.

ETA: I apologize for expressing frustration in this thread, that wasn’t appropriate, sorry. :/
