As for my opinion. I'd personally like to think the leaders are pure, otherwise there's three times to get influence from scum on getting powers for themselves (main thread, clans, leaders). I think the point of the game is definitely to combat paranoia. I assumed that each leader was supposed to have their own agenda for their Clans, but so far, it's been pretty mellow.

I think the game loses a lot of intrigue if scum aren't able to manipulate in the distribution of power roles in this kind of set-up, which is why I'm wary of it. That's all I really want to say on it tho tbh I'd rather just try and catch scum the old fashioned way.
