My rant abt the setup cuz it's a little frustrating:

- three ninja
- informed that there's an ascetic watcher
- informed that the ic is macho + ninja enabler

Until we know where the watcher is we're strictly disincentivized to kill the ic - we lose the only edge we have (ninja) when the ic dies and the watcher is still in play

That means that until we find the watcher, we shouldnt be killing the ic

That means that we have to start killing elsewhere. I don't remember if math is informed that toto is macho or if toto just said it, but either way math knows he isnt supposed to be on the ic

So we happen to kill the doc protect, fine. Annoying but these things happen. From dayplay i still believe we made the right choice to target iv n1

Once we know there's a doc, from our pov the optimal thing is to target them. Running into a lol-jk at that point is demoralizing because there's absolutely no way to predict that, and we were penalized for making the correct nk choice (twice!) based on the info we had. There was no reason to believe a jk existed, and frankly I believe we're significantly underpowered: we don't really have a way to break the doc/jk thing. Town's speculating we have a rolestopper or rb, which we do not

On top of that there's still the watcher that we need to deal with: if we ever kill the ic, there's *three* levels if pseudo-protectives

It's almost impossible to kill anyone overnight without getting caught/interdered with at that point, leaving scum in a Not Great situation

Even if the game is 'complex', interfering with scum's ability to kill is Not Fun and very demoralizing to play, esp. if there isnt really an indication that this is the sort of game i signed up for.

It really feels like we were penalized for making the right choices with the information we had (ignoring n3), and now we're in a 10p game on day4 with a vanishingly small lim pool

yeah i feel like i have to basically rely on like an argument about missing kills and rolestoppers blockers and paranoia to make up for the fact we haven’t been able to kill (and tbf i don’t even think our n3 kill was that bad because who expects full doc.) when we should have had at least something small to help us
