So, I had a growing suspicion on Furtive over the night, and I don't know if it is valid. Because I really thought that Norwee was unpartnered with Ali in our hood.

But I felt like Junko and Furtive's engagements were really weird.

And I am struggling to decide which thought I think more strongly

I agree on furtive/Junko interactions.
I feel like ducky's play in both the main thread and the Leader PT make me feel better about his slot and I think that final scum is between furtive and Ceph.

His catchup felt Towny as he actually seemed nuanced in commenting on things.
Basically the opposite of Junko.
Also, I liked his response to my question on number of scum in Leaders. Scum would be more interested in self preservation to draw attention to the notion that scum could be in Leaders.

TBH should I give S_S the ceremony today and force scum to NK him (if he's Town) or give him tommorow when he can RB scum (if he's Town)?
I kinda want to give him tommorow but I don't know if I'd survive that long and furtive seems pretty keen on upholding Bell's legacy.

Mechanically, saying it out loud had a zero percent chance to give the scum team more information then just voting in the leader chat.

Like, you, furtive, and the worst would all be informed because of being in the leader chat.

SS would be informed by nature of being the target.

And ceph would be informed by combination of seeing this message, while not being himself activated (Since ceph and SS were the only valid options atp)

Hi. I am still pretty sure that SS is town, but I am hedging against a thought that I had about his claim.


SS claimed to be an

Odd-night role blocker.

Scum already flipped with this role:

[Bramble Nests] Your training with other Clans taught you a few new tricks. On odd nights, any actions that target you, other than kills, will fail as if roleblocked.

[Belly Rake] The Dark Forest refuses to train with sheathed claws. On even nights, you may target a cat. Assuming no interference with your action, that cat's active abilities will be blocked that night.

I wondered about the fact that SS's roleblocker claim appeared to be a mirror of the role blocker portion, with it being on opposite nights.

I am spot checking if he is secretly, a complete mirror:

I have targeted him with my neighborizor ability, to see if a hood can form.

I asked the mod if my ability would make a hood even if I died, and the answer was that, assuming no interference with my action, a hood would form for my target, but they would be in it alone.

So, we can test to see if SS gets put into a hood alone, even if I am dead. Or if he was secretly ascetic tonight.

I would recommend subtlety, not asking SS directly.

Maybe even going so far as to lie, and say that I said I was targeting ceph, and see what SS has to say.

His changing on reads didn't feel natural and his explanation on him saying that he didn't feel scum!S_S after putting him as second most likely to be scum felt off.

furtive asked on optimal play so I told him that we should eliminate somebody.
This is mainly because if S_S is Town, he's most likely to be NKed due to the strength of his PR.
If he is scum, then one of you/me gets NKed because we're considerably TRed.
Another reason is to avoid giving scum control of the game as if we don't eliminate anybody, scum NKs randomly and wins.

This is wrong mechanically, for a few reasons (you are also a still living leaders, and also warrior ceremonies are mod announced each day when they happen). Kind of silly coming from a mechanically minded player like SS.

But the worry felt real, like he had the thought, and he pushed it out there before he really had time to think about it because the day was coming to a close.

But scum!ss can never have this worry. He knows that that won't happen, and I don't think that in that moment he would think to fake worry about a mechanic incorrectly.
