This setup comes from the idea of hunting for scum pairs and looking at player interactions from the start rather than an individual's play.

Eliminations happen in pairs. There will be two vote counts throughout the game, one denoted with VOTE: tags and one with HEAL: tags. When a player reaches majority in one vote count they are locked in as that vote count's elimination. Once both vote counts have a player locked in the day will end. If both players are the same alignment they will be exiled and flipped. If the players are of different alignments, neither of them will be exiled and the game will continue straight to the night phase. Mafia have day talk and a factional kill.

I've got with 9/2 because then the game will always reach day 3 which I think gives town a better chance to be able to do something.
Not sure about power roles yet. I was considering perhaps something like a mentalist duo - each picks a player and learns if they're the same or different alignment to the player the other one of the duo picked (don't know who each other are)

So essentially, Town gets to either eliminate both Mafia or otherwise get a public Parity Cop check, if I'm understanding the voting mechanics correctly.

I don't think the setup is scumsided with 0 PRs. Because all it takes is 1 Mafia to be in the top 2 suspects on a certain day to get that parity check

If I'm Mafia and my partner gets checked, I want to vote out the town they were checked against and another town, even though it outs my partner. The double kill is too nice
