During Night 0, the undead will be informed of which PRs the village has access to (but not how many of each role). They will then choose which roles they wish to purchase.

The village will have

between 5-9 ascension points

. The undead have 3 fewer points than the village.

Unique rules

Priest, Witch Hunter

• Holy Water
  : Immortals return favourable (innocent) result; a ghost's possessed target returns unfavourable (guilty) result

Witch Hunter

• Can only use one skill per night
  If roleblocked or targeting an invisible target, the abilities are not wasted

Sorceress

• Lightning Bolt
  : Blocked by an enchanter's spell shield

Enchantress

• Spell Shield
  : Protects the target from harmful magical abilities, but will not stop normal kills
  vampires, ghosts, and death knights won't affect shielded targets
  
• Banshee wails and sorceress lightning won't kill shielded targets
  
• Shielded zombies won't reanimate for the night
  
• Witch divinations on shielded targets return "no result" as if roleblocked

Angel

• Smite (reactive)
  : When an angel dies, it can choose to smite someone
  
• If the angel's target is undead or ghost-possessed (but not an immortal), it will be slain

Trickster

• Invisibility
  : The trickster can turn invisible and become immune to all direct night actions except strong kills
  
• After turning invisible, a trickster must wait one full night before it can become invisible again

Death Knight

• Dark Ward
  : Wards a target to kill its killers if it dies
  
• Both the ward and its reactive kill can be blocked by an enchanter's spell shield

Zombie

• Reanimation (reactive)
  : If eliminated, the zombie will rise from the dead on the next dawn, but only if another undead exists
  
• Will be slain for good if killed in any way other than elimination
  
• If dead and awaiting reanimation, the zombie cannot be put to rest by normal means
  
• Will not reanimate if doing so will endgame the remaining players

Banshee

• Death Wail
  : If the banshee performs the undead kill, it can instead choose to use its wail
  
• The wail kills through invisibility and healing, but is blocked by an enchanter's spell shield
  
• After wailing, the banshee must wait one full night before it can wail again

Other mechanics

• The undead have daytalk; a zombie who isn't permanently slain can still communicate privately even if "dead"
  
• The undead who performs the kill can also use their other powers on the same night

RULES

1. Site Rules
   - Follow all site rules.
2. Mod colour
   – My mod colour is
   orange
   (#FF8000); don't use it.
3. Behaviour
   - Be respectful. This is a heated game but toxicity will not be tolerated. Attack the play not the player. If your fellow players tell you to stop, you must stop. If you do not stop, I will tell you to stop. If you still do not stop, you will be force-replaced. Asking people to stop voting you or to stop scumhunting you entirely doesn't count for this rule and you may find yourself eliminated if you try it.
4. Don't talk about ongoing games
   - You may not talk to each other about this game outside of threads I have created for this purpose. You may not talk about other ongoing games in this thread.
5. Text
   - Text should be legible (keep it 70+ please) and should not be hidden behind cryptography. Breadcrumbing is fine.
6. Provable randomness
   - is against the rules. Saying that you rolled a dice is fine, using dice tags or random.org is not.
7. Confirmation
   - You have 48 hours to confirm your role and your alignment by PM. Undead will have 24 hours to choose their roles. Posting in a private topic counts as confirmation. Game will begin after all players have confirmed their roles, but not before a minimum of 24 hours.
8. Days
   - Day 1 will last 10 days. Each following Day phase will last 7 days. Night will be 48 hours. Extensions may be granted at my discression.
9. Activity
   - You must post at least once every 36 hours or I will Prod you. You then have 24 hours to post in the game thread or I will replace you. If you come back before I find a replacement, you can stay. The activity timers run at half-speed on weekends. Players can request me to prod somebody early. This will only count as an official prod if you don't post before you would have been due for a prod. If you haven't posted in the 24 hours before the thread is locked for night, you must reply to the night start PM or you will be replaced during the night. You will also be replaced if you are prodded 3 times total
10. Vacation/Limited Access
    - If you need to be absent for longer than this, you should declare V/LA in bold in the thread like this:
    @Mod: I will be v/la until Thursday
    . While you are V/LA, you will be nudged once every 54 hours. Two nudges equals one prod. If you have not posted game advancing content in 5 days, regardless of V/LA status, you will be replaced.
11. Prodging
    - A naked "prod dodge" does not reset the prod timer.
    
12. Replacement
    - PM me if you wish to be replaced out. Angleshooting (speculating on alignment because of replacement) is not permitted.
13. Quoting
    - You may not quote (or copy paste) any private information into the thread, including your role PM and any mod communication.
14. Notes PT
    - Let me know if you want a private thread to store your thoughts and feedback for the other players. This thread will be made public immediately after the game. You may draft posts in your notes PT but you may not talk about your notes PT in public. You definitely may not use the notes PT to demonstrate that you've had a town mindset in private all along; just put your town mindset in public to begin with and keep your notes to yourself.
15. Voting
    - Votes must be in bold in the format

    . Strong preference for using vote tags instead of bold tags. Unvotes are nice but not required. If I think it’s a vote, it’s a vote, no tricks. Type VOTE: Marashu to vote and UNVOTE: Marashu to unvote. Votes in spoiler tags will not be counted.
16. Elimination
    - Eliminations will be by majority. If there is no majority by deadline, then there is No Elimination.
17. Night
    - Nights will last 48 hours unless all living players request fast night.
18. Action submissions
    - You may submit actions via PM or PT. Actions must be received by the deadline. You can change your mind as many times as you like before the deadline.
19. Claiming Scum
    - by yourself is fine. Claiming scum with another player is against the rules.
20. Rule Changes
    - I may add or modify additional rules at my discretion. Everyone will be notified via PM if this happens.
21. Play to win
    - this particular game, not some future one, and keep it fun!
