You and one other Black Ops agent were en route to the Bajoran Wormhole when your ship was swallowed up by the temporal anomaly. The two of you quickly ascertained that the anomaly was not a natural occurance. It was designed, and can be controlled. The possibilities a controllable temporal anomaly opens up are far too important to let slip away. Among the other space vessels also trapped within the temporal anomaly, you have found an unlikely but powerful ally.

Your abilities:

  Once during the game in a Day phase you can initiate a Court Martial. Initiation must happen before the halfway mark of the game day (by the 6th calendar day on Day 1, and by the 4th calendar day on subsequent Days). To do this, you will PM me and GuyInFreezer, specifying another player you want to also act as judge during the court martial. Another player who is not currently known to you will agree or disagree with the Court Martial action, and will choose who the defendant will be. The thread will be locked between the time you initiate the Court Martial and when the unknown player indicates to me their agreement (or lack of agreement) and specifies the defendant. Then the game thread will be reopened. If a Court Martial has been agreed upon, I will announce the judges (you, the unknown player, and the player of your choice) and defendant. The three judges will have 48 hours to decide on one of two courses of action by majority vote: To court-martial the defendant, in which case all living players will vote either to eliminate the defendant or not. Or to proceed with a normal elimination where any player may be eliminated by majority vote.
  
• Secure Channel:
  Twice each game day you may send an anonymous message to the player who shares court martial decision making with you. The messages can be up to 47 words long. You can use the messages to coordinate the initiation of your court martial, or otherwise as you wish.

You were part of Project Khan, a 1980s experiment in genetic engineering to create Augments -- superhumans. Superhumanity came with super dictatorial tendencies and the Eugenics Wars. You and some of your Augment compatriots eventually had to escaped Earth in a sleeper ship called Botany Bay. You were found and revived by the Enterprise in the 23rd century, and almost renewed your quest for the domination of humanity, or at least a human-colonized planet. Your quest failed and you and the other survivors of the Botany Bay were left by the Enterprise crew on Ceti Alpha V to colonize the harsh but livable planet. Unfortunately the planet didn't stay very livable and you blame Kirk and the Enterprise for the cruel fate that killed your wife and many of your friends. You want vengeance upon all who contributed to their deaths. The temporal anomaly has interfered with that vengeance. For now, to save the handful of remaining Augments, you have put aside your quest and will cooperate however you can to find a way out of the anomaly.

The temporal anomaly has disrupted the subspace transceivers that enable you to communicate with and direct every Borg drone in transceiver range. You have never experienced loneliness before. Fortunately Section 31 operatives who are also trapped in the temporal anomaly have made an alliance with you. Your objective? To cooperate for the duration of this emergency. After that, you will pursue your own objectives once more.

  Personal Cloaking Device:
  . On the night the player decides to use this cloaking device, they will be invisible to all motion-based investigations, e.g., tracker, watcher, motion detector, etc.
  The recipient players will be able to use the devices on a subsequent night.
  
• Bring order to chaos:
  Twice during the game at night you can take control of a player who is Borg or who has been Borg in the past. You have two abilities you can make the player use for you, and can use each ability once.

You and one other Black Ops agent were en route to the Bajoran Wormhole when your ship was swallowed up by the temporal anomaly. The two of you quickly ascertained that the anomaly was not a natural occurance. It was designed, and can be controlled. The possibilities a controllable temporal anomaly opens up are far too important to let slip away. Among the other space vessels also trapped within the temporal anomaly, you have found an unlikely but powerful ally.

Your abilities:

Tasha Yar stood by as the defendant was brought in for trial, on high alert for any suspicious activities. Her hand curled in frustration as she thought about the many crimes this man had allegedly been responsible for. Her phaser was near at hand, and thinking back to the scene which had unfolded before her several nights ago, it made her want to wrap her hand around it and dispense with the formalities immediately. She'd been so close by, lurking in the hallway near Data's quarters, wondering if she dared seek to enter- a sentiment cut short by the angry yells within. The sight of the angry form of Khan collapsing onto the broken shapes that once was her android friend, blaming Data with his dying breath for the vengeful old man's murder- she would never forget it. Nor forgive herself for not being able to stop it.

Drawing a sharp breath, she roused herself from the mental torment of reliving that moment, focusing upon the trial before her. It was soon evident that finally they had caught the last of the conspirators, a welcome relief after days of accusations, including many against her, a not unsurprising turn of events given how she'd failed in her job of keeping everyone secure. That was of secondary importance to her own self-recrimination, which would stay with her forever. Or at least for as long as it took to get out of this strange anomaly- who knew whether any of this even would exist outside of it? Perhaps everyone would be alive again, as if none of this ever existed.

With a sudden surge of hope at that thought, Tasha welcomed the flash of light that heralded Q's conclusion to the trial. Maybe the world would return to normal, and she would be able to find Data again sometime...

Kind of a confusing setup with some misdirection that was making me rather uncertain even as people started to come up pretty clear (why the hell can the Borg queen get a forced bodyguard that doesn't protect from anything, lol) but I love the effort put into it. Thanks for modding, ffery, I can tell you're clearly a Tasha fan too, that was a great role design.

Thank the lord I didn't try to save Wavelength like I momentarily considered doing. Don't even wanna think about how badly it would've gone with both LLD and me claiming to have been roleblocked.
