We also cracked open all our geodes, donated what we could to the museum, and sold most of the artifacts that we couldn't donate. Some of the more popular stuff got gifted (frozen tears and fire quartz usually make pretty good gifts, unlike most of the stuff that comes out of geodes), as well as some of our amethysts and artisan goods.

Finally, we turned in the Pale Ale to Pam for 350G.

Today, we did the following:
- Completed the item delivery quest, giving Marnie her Ruby for 750G.
- Discovered it was Marnie's birthday! Gave her a jar of gold-star mayonnaise, which she liked. We've jumped from three hearts with Marnie to five.
- Bought some bait from Willy, since we were running low.
- Accepted the "Community Cleanup" special order - we have until the end of Sunday to gather 20 pieces of trash and drop them in the trash can by the railroad.
- Reloaded the crab pots.
- Did some fishing. Mostly river, with a little bit of ocean.

Caught one of the legendary fish!

- the Angler.

(Completely by accident...)

- Sold most of what we found today, except for the Angler.
- Bought and planted ten amaranth seeds for the remaining Marnie quest. These seeds were not watered, as I didn't get to planting them until it was dark out.

Pumpkin: delivered. Caroline was quite pleased; she gave us 500G for it. Quest completed!
Forage: eh. We found a few blackberries, but that was about it. Could have been more thorough about this, but given all the other stuff on the to-do list, it got short shrift.
Buy two goats: bought! They cost 4000G each, so two was all we could afford. Random chance named them Batchu and Gona; let me know if we should rename them.
- Once mature, goats will provide milk every other day.
Crafting: successful! We now have four mayo machines and three cheese presses. They've been set up in the Coop and Barn, respectively.
Traveling Merchant: visited, but they didn't have anything of interest for sale - at least, no blueberries.
Fishing: done! Did some fishing by the river mid-socializing.
Socializing: we talked with everyone we saw today, including everyone at the tavern tonight.

Where the Wild Things are

On our way home from the tavern, we took the scenic route and headed up north - mostly as a last-ditch attempt to try to find forage. On our way past Robin's house, we saw Linus sitting by his campfire. He waved us over, wanting to talk, so we sat down with him for a while.

He apologized to us for mistrusting us initially - experience has taught him to be wary, but in our case, it led him astray. We're a fine person, and he's glad to consider us a friend.

He then invited us into his tent, wanting to show us something - a quick tutorial on how to build a better fish bait!

- Finished Community Cleanup by fishing at the pond at our farm. While it's not 100% fish-free, it's reasonably close to it - we caught something like three fish while grabbing the seventeen trash we needed. We got 500G for finishing the quest.
- Delivered the requested emerald to Emily, who gave us 750G.
- Talked with everyone we saw. We caught Emily at the saloon, so hit up everyone there and around it.
