Skull Cavern results - not a very good run this time. Floor 2 was infested - mostly with purple slimes, which have a surprisingly large reservoir of HP to burn through. Thanks to a shaft we managed to get to floor 20.

We're down to four standard cheese; we also used one of our Fried Mushrooms (down to 4).
We got:
- Two Coconuts (one gold), two Cactus Fruit (one silver), two Cave Carrots, one white algae, two hazelnuts (from the bus stop)
- 12 Omni Geodes
- 1 Diamond, 2 Emeralds, 4 Amethysts, 1 Topaz, 1 earth crystal
- 10 gold ore, 11 copper ore, 3 iron ore, 1 iridium ore, 14 coal, 1 refined quartz
- 12 slime, 11 sap, 3 void essence, 1 Prehistoric Tibia (this can be donated to the museum), 2 batwings
- 1 Steel Falchion. 28-46 damage, +4 speed, +20 crit power. Less recoil than the tempered broadsword, but faster.

We also picked up the Eggplant order, as well as a fetch quest for Penny; she wants a Hazelnut. (And we just happened to find one ...)

I'm reasonably certain Tiger Trout show up in the fall. Catfish, I'm less certain about their season, but I'm positive they only show up in the rain.
Walleye I'm pretty sure is either Fall or Winter; I don't remember which, but probably Fall. Pretty sure they're either river or lake (or both?) Eel ... I know they show up in Spring, but *think* they show up in the Fall too? They're definitely rain / ocean, though.

The Fried Egg is trivial to cook at any time. The Maki Roll is Fish (any) x1, Seaweed x1, Rice x1.
We've got the wheat planted and can get hay from the silo or harvesting grass any time this season. Apples need a tree planted, and it would have had to have been planted already to have one ready before Fall ends.
Wine: we need kegs, and fruit to fill those kegs with. We can craft kegs: 30x Wood, 1x Copper, 1x Iron, 1x Oak Resin.
Pomegranate is another fall fruit; again, too late to plant one.
Nautilus Shell: think that's winter forage on the beach.
Red Cabbage: haven't seen any for sale yet.
Sea Urchins: we may have spotted those on the island east of the beach. We'd have to rebuild the beach bridge, at a cost of 300 wood.

Let's build a keg as well and put something cheap in it (for community center).

So today we are:
- Incubating a void egg.
- Crafting a keg and putting a cheap fruit inside.
- Fishing. Starting with the river; moving to the ocean in the evening if we manage to catch ... Catfish / Tiger Trout / Walleye. Maybe just the catfish and walleye; not 100% sure Tiger Trout can be caught in the rain.

Void egg has been fed to the incubator, which is now active.
One keg has been crafted. It's now loaded with a fruit, which should produce wine.
We caught

all

of our target fish - Tiger Trout was our very first catch, followed by the Walleye (despite being a night fish, we caught it around 12:10 PM!). Catfish showed up a little later; we then switched to ocean and caught the eel later in the evening.

The Fish Tank has been completed!

We received Bait x30 and a Small Glow Ring for the two bundles.

We also had to do some emergency wood chopping; we didn't have enough wood on-hand to make the keg. I brought us up to around 100 wood or so (after the keg).

A late night drink

On our way home from fishing, we stopped by the tavern. Most of the regulars were there - Leah, Shane, Willy, Pam. Harvey and Lewis were there as well.

When we said greetings to Shane, we weren't expecting much; he's never been very social. But this time, he left the saloon outright.

Curious, we followed him. He looked to be heading home to the ranch, but walked right past it - heading out to the pier by the forest lake.

There, he seemed willing to talk. He shared a beer with us while talking about being caught in a black abyss, from which he could not escape. We didn't say much - but quickly chugged down the beer. Shane looked pleased - but warned us not to drink too much. After all, we still have a future - implying that Shane himself does not.

I endorse all of Ariel's ideas, but I want to suggest planting a maple tree forest instead of pine cones.

So:
- Make a keg; load it with hops to make a Pale Ale for Pam.
- Bring Marnie a Cave Carrot (note to self: just show up at the ranch with the carrot).
- Look at Marnie's new livestock. If "Ducks" are present and affordable, buy one and name it Katara.
- Chop down trees on the farm. Replace with either maple seeds, pine cones, or a combination thereof.

I don't think blackberries are an option any more, but if I'm wrong we'll go pick some more.

Keg: made. Loaded with hops now. To the best of my knowledge, we used our last Oak Resin to make it. We're also running low on both copper and iron bars. (Plenty of ore; just need to spend some time smelting it. We've only got one tapper working oaks, though.)
Cave Carrot: delivered. Marnie was quite pleased to see it. No obvious reward, but a job well done is its own reward, right?
Livestock inquiries: Marnie is indeed selling ducks! They cost 1200G each. Once mature, they lay duck eggs every other day. We purchased one.

The Coop has room for two more birds.

Blackberries: silly me. Yes, they're still in season. I didn't sweep everywhere, but hit up Cindersap Forest and the bus stop. While looking for berries at the bus stop, I also spotted

Linus's basket

. It was too late in the day to return it to him, but we can do that another day.
Chop down trees: done. I concentrated mostly on the northwest section. That was primarily loaded with a mix of oak and maple (mostly maple), so I replanted with pure maple. Still plenty of trees left to chop, though.
