Match 5: Haschel can only watch from the sidelines as his partner Aristophanes faces a challenge from Anix.

Main Event: CaptainMeme challenges T-Bone to win the coveted Paragon of Wrestlers.

[T-Bone]

At the Beginning of Nightkill...

T-Bone appears on the stage with LLD and Majiffy standing behind him. The lights are dim and T-Bone speaks, shouldering his Paragon Championship.

"I am the epitome of this sport, at the top of my game. That is evident by the fact that I carry this, MafiaScum Wrestling Federation Paragon Championship. That is evident by how all of you stand in awe of the Emperor of MafiaScum."

T-Bone raises his arms and beckons the crowd to boo.

"It's alright to be jealous of greatness. Let me take a moment to address the controversy at hand. Yes technically I allowed Mallowgeno a win last week. But that was after I gave him a vicious beatdown for 20 solid minutes in and around this ring. I could have ended the match at any time I wanted. But I wanted to be gracious, you do not get to be me without giving back to wrestling. I gave him the gift of sharing the ring with me. And how does he repay me? With an illegal choke. Yeah that's right your boy Mallowgeno CHEATED in our match. And listen I get it, I have enemies in this company. The referees are on the take, and that corrupt referee was going to allow Mallowgeno to use this illegal and underhanded move without consequence. So I ended the match for the sake of this company! It would crumble if I let that criminal scum injure me. Mallowgeno is going to get what is coming to him. Because like any good Royalty, I have a Sword, and I have a Shield."

T-Bone gestures to LLD and Majiffy behind him.

"They will solve the Mallowgeno problem soon enough. Tonight we have our own problems. First, LLD is the most dangerous woman in all of professional wrestling. She will cut down Tris and take the Donna Corleone Championship. I do not need to speak for LLD further, she will speak through her violence."

T-Bone pauses and looks over his shoulder.

"Secondly, we have a CaptainMeme problem. Frankly I am sick of hearing about CaptainMeme. My dear "challenger", you've displayed some semblance of talent and displayed an even greater propensity for luck. But let's face it, talent and luck alone won't save you from my indomitable presence. You see, I am not just a champion; I am the embodiment of excellence, the pinnacle of this entire federation."

The crowd starts up a "Meme" chant.

"Oh save your feeble cheers for someone more deserving because in this business I am untouchable! Let's face it, the only reason the MSWF exists in its current form today is because when Commissioner Zor came to my door begging for a star, I obliged. Without me there would be no Nightkill, no Clash at the Mash, no MafiaScum Wrestling Federation. You fans would have nothing to waste your pathetic dollars on without me. Cheer for CaptainMeme if you want, in fact, I welcome it! But your cheers won't compensate for his shortcomings."

T-Bone readjusts the belt on his shoulder.

"CaptainMeme if you were smart you would lay down and make this quick. You don't have what it takes to be a champion. You don't talk like a champion, you don't walk like a champion, you don't dress like a champion, and crucially, you don't wrestle like a champion. This championship is a burden. It not only proclaims me to be the best in the world, this championship entitles the shoulder that it is on to hold this company up like Atlas. Frankly kid, you ain't strong enough for that responsibilty. In the unlikely event this championship is stolen from me tonight, this company will crumble, and you will be responsible for that, CaptainMeme. You don't want that pressure. Let this be a harsh reality check. When we step into that ring I will expose you for the mere pleb you are, while I ascend to greater heights of supremacy."

With that T-Bone drops the microphone as his music hits and the SDC returns to the back.

[AniX]

The scene opens on a completely empty ring, the lights so dim as to almost produce near darkness. On cue, however, a golden spotlight opens on center ring, igniting the crowd.

“BOOOOOO!” they heckle.

“Not this guy again!”

“Mods are sods! Mods are sods!”

“AniX blows, AniX blows!”

Suddenly, the single spotlight rapidly and explosively expands to cover the entire ring, briefly blinding people just enough that when they open their eyes, they no doubt regret their heckles as the wrestler himself, AniX, the Upick God, stands before them. Their brains short circuiting out of fear, no doubt, their heckles continue, though the figure in the ring seems to pay them no mind. “Did somebody say my name?” they say with a smirk, the crowd roaring with excited “[You] boooooet, [You] booooet!”

“Your support is, as always, appreciated, my dear worshipers. But what is not appreciated is the sort of heresy I have seen in this ring lately. Olympus is known as the home of the Gods, yet the ones who bear that name in this Federation are nothing but jokes. At Clash, we saw these divine claimants lose to a cartoon meme dog and video game fodder. And then they come scurrying to me two at a time, not even brave enough to fight without the other to hold their hand. Twin cowards! This is the state of divinity? These are the so-called Gods? I say to you no! I say to you there is a better way! I say to you, my dear worshipers, that I will deliver unto these pretenders the might and strength of the modern Prometheus, who delivered unto you the greatest mafia variant of all times just as the Titan brought humans fire.”
He pauses to survey the crowd, who have been rendered into stunned silence and definitely not because security was escorting the loudest voices from the audience. “And once I have taught them to respect the true God of the Federation, at the very last moment, at what some might say at the 11th Hour…I will STOP! THEIR! CLOCK!”

The lights flicker off and on, leaving only ringing alarm clocks to fall from the ceiling onto an empty ring.

Meanwhile, this happened backstage after the main event...

[Black]

The arena lights come on as people start to file out of their seats and towards the exits. There's a low rumble throughout the crowd as the fans talk excitedly about the events that just took place.

Some are talking about whether Ariel is really better than Lilith. Others debate if LLD can make a title push. Isis fans poke and prod at their friends who thought there was no way Bella and Klick could lose tonight.

Suddenly the lights turn off and the background music that was accompanying people out of the building stops with an abrupt sound, like someone unplugged the audio cord. A few people shriek at the sudden pitch black that surrounds them.

This lasts for a couple of minutes until a lone spotlight illuminates through the darkness, beaming directly into the center of the ring. Some fans have trickled out but most of them are still in the main arena. They turn curiously towards the ring

A small figure is sitting there cross legged, their head bowed toward the ground. They slowly lift their head. Fans begin to recognize the figure as their eyesights adjust. It's the newcomer, Black.

Black lifts her arm from her lap and reveals a mic.

"I want you all to remember what it's like being in pitch black. The uncertainty of it all. Not knowing your next move..."

Black stands up and starts to glow slightly. There's a bit of a shaking that the fans can feel, and all of the sudden there is a SHATTER! and the spotlight vanishes, but Black's voice remains.

"That's going to be exactly how your favorite super star feels when they see me standing in their way."

With Black's last words, the lights turn on. The background music begins to play as if it never even stopped. The ring is empty.

It's eerily quiet at first as the crowd tries to make sense of what they just witnessed from this newcomer. It almost felt supernatural the way Black glowed like that. And what was with the spotlight shattering? Some love it, some are spooked and creeped out. Everyone turns back toward the exits as conversation picks up again.

Video Released After Nightkill

The video opens with just a view of Vash against a black background. He sits at a desk with his hands clasped, his sunglasses still on.

"It's been a bad week. A week full of disappointment. Meme and I both had the championships in our grasps and yet we failed. Though I would still like to congratulate Fenrir and T-Bone on their victories."

He pauses for a second and looks off to the side before bringing his eyes back to the camera.

"Despite this, Captainmeme and I will not be returning to tag team action quite yet. I still have some things to prove in the singles division."

Vash sits back in his chair, clasping his hands once again with his index fingers touching, he begins to shake them as if he is about to say something important.

"That's why I'd like to extend an invitation of a singles match to a competitor who I believe shows incredible promise, but hasn't gotten a chance to show it one on one. As such, StrangerCoug, I hope you are ready to learn about the power of love and peace."

Vash begins to get up and walk away...before quickly sprinting back into frame and looking at the camera

"Oh, and to make sure neither of us gets outside help, it's going to be in a steel cage. Good luck."

Vash makes the peace sign with his fingers before quickly exiting the frame.

I may be keeping a very close eye on this

[Black]

A promo starts on the jumbotron as an Umbreon and Miltank appear on the screen. The promo takes turns cutting between these two Pokemon using various moves to destroy their opponents. After several enemy Pokemon faint at the hands of moves like Dark Pulse, Assurance, and of course Rollout, the screen fades to black for a second. When the image returns we see Black standing there in a dark room, staring at the ground.

Black looks up and smiles into the camera.

"This week, at Clash of the Mash, Not Mafia and I will be competing together for the titles I was born to hold... the Black Widow Brigade!"

The promo cuts to images from this past week's Nightkill, showing Black and Isis pulling off lots of flashy moves in their upset victory over Klick and Bella. The last image we see here is Isis and Black celebrating the win very briefly before turning towards each other. They exchange a malicious look and then Isis turns to head toward the back.

The images fade and Black returns to the screen.

"Isis, last week we joined forces to give ourselves an opportunity to compete for these titles. This week, you're just another domino standing the way of a title reign I am destined for."

Black leans closer to the camera. The smile is gone and she looks very serious.

"I hope you're prepared to fall."

The screen fades to black.

A week later, backstage at Nightkill

Kison: So Haschel, Anix called you and your partner out last week.

Haschel: I will admit that Anix talks a good game...

Kison (interrupting): Anix backed it up, too. Ari was pretty handily defeated.

Haschel: Okay. Right. Okay. I know that on paper we Olympians looked pretty bad last week.

Kison: Not just on paper; you looked bad on film too.

Haschel: What the hell, man?

Kison: I'm just reporting it the way I see it.

Haschel: Then report this. Anix showed his hand last week. While he was fighting Ari, I was watching. I know his moves. I'm coming for him next and there's not a goddamn thing he can do about it. And I've got a secret weapon he doesn't have.

Kison: Those chairs aren't secret; everybody knows there's a big stockpile of them under th...

Haschel: I'm not talking about the goddamn chairs! I'm talking about friendship. Aristophanes and I have each other's backs. If anybody messes with one of us, they mess with both of us. And Anix can't understand that because he's never had anybody in his corner. He's a loner, a rebel. And that's gonna be his downfall.

Kison: No offense, but I don't think you can beat Anix using only the powers of friendship.

Haschel: Well we do have the chairs as Plan B.

[Haschel Cedricson]

The next episode of Nightkill is ready and will be airing either tomorrow or Friday depending on when more people can make it. It's a seven-match extravaganza and while I won't reveal the whole card I can promise that we will continue to see advancement of the following storylines:

* The Olympians vs Anix
* Shadoweh vs Ythan
* Mallowgeno and his quest to take down the Screaming Death Clan

Plus a special four-man Battle Royal as the main event!
