Well there some theories.

1. Ascetic is not Real. Pretty strange to fakeclaim ascetic and then throw something like "oh i got fruit" though.
2. Willbooster? I don't think Ascetic actually "Roleblocks" target or action. Action STILL goes though: Tracker can see you visiting Ascetic target.. They just plainly don't care about it. Need to ask mod about it so.
3. Ascetic real, peregrine just bullshiting to throw chaos.

My paranoid post-Team Mafia brain tells me what if willbooster + fruit vendor are scum trying to make ascetic claim look fake. BUT I don't think it seems like anyone did that.

Ascetic is a weird thing to fake claim early and even weirder to fake "ooops I received fruit" so there's an explanation that might be cleared up by massclaim. IDK massclaiming burned us in TM but it burned scum in PYP. And I'm already full claimed so it doesn't matter to me.

I do ask that if we massclaim we do it properly and not get side tracked discussing the claims until EVERYONE has claimed. Giving scum more time and less pressure at massclaim by diving into the weeds before it's done is never good.

Willbooster WOULD'T allow Ascetic to receive fruit.

Right now i cannot see any possible way with known roles which could allow Ascetic to receive fruit and all variant roles are known.


Therefore, it's confirmed that Peregrine lying.

Mod told me that there is some way of "mutation" or something which could trump Ascetic but otherwise idk.
