I don't believe it took you 8 hours to realize this was the reason for your alledgedly

I find this to be a poor conclusion to come to
It's really easy to come up with reasons this take isn't valid
What could I have been doing for 8 hours in the day that would have prevented me from engaging further :thonk:
Oh come one, the point wasn't that you were gone from the thread.

You did not stop "engaging" for 8 hours, you broke the same thought into two pieces. And you admitted yourself that you did so deliberately, so I wasn't even wrong.
You don't get to play the card that I'm not allowed to infer stuff (that, remember, you ended up admitting yourself) unless I can exclude that anything else is possible. It is very easy indeed to come up with reasons why anything at all could
possibly
be explained away; again you're asking for an impossible standard.
Did I catch you for the wrong reason or something?
It wasn't a sensible inference. It's also not correct.
Here's the order of events:
1. I had a gut negative reaction to your claim.
2. I posted about it.
3. I realised what it was that was bothering me.
4. I decided to wait before following up.
And yes I am annoyed at this situation, because one of you is responding to this in an annoying way as scum, and one of you is doing it as town. It's not 'caught for the wrong reasons', it's 'incorrectly tunnelled for wrong reasons'. What you are picking up on is me truthfully arguing back against incorrect reasoning.
If I were scum in this situation, it wouldn't be particularly difficult to come up with something more persuasive than the truth. I'm arguing what I'm arguing because I'm town and it's true.
