So what do you think I should do if there's no replacement for Starfire? Just keep the deadline frozen, or resume or what? Because I have a feeling the game is dragging out due to all the deadline extensions and freezes.

It's only been a day, so I wouldn't do anything just yet. If nobody replaces in after a couple more days, I don't actually know what I would do, so maybe ask the listmod.
Also keep in mind that the players can still end the day whenever they want. If they feel the day is dragging, they don't have to sit around and wait for a replacement, they can execute someone. Unfortunately, though, that means the night deadline gets frozen and then maybe the night gets dragged out. The night can't really be allowed to end with a slot still empty because it means the slot doesn't get a chance to submit an action if they have one. I'd definitely consult the listmod if you don't have any luck finding one in the next few days.
