My plan would definitely be at least 2 weeks, probably 3. I'm not flying to Australia and missing an opportunity to do non-survivor things, as much as I enjoy survivor things.

If I could go see a hilltop hoods or Bliss N Eso show that would be fucking aces.

I absolutely would be doing 2 weeks minimum. New Zealand is a top 10 destination for me so I'd find a way to incorporate a few nights there into the trip :)

Omg I would love to do this! It would probably need to be in July or August for me to make it work but if it's possible, I will 100% be there.

July is the wettest possible month for New Zealand lol. Aus will still be in winter, but likely better than nz

Thanks to everyone who has posted so far! The impression I've gotten from the two survivormeets I've attended was that people felt they didn't have enough time for non-survivor things. So, it would definitely be a goal of mine to strike more of a balance during the meet itself. Plus, if the meet serves as an excuse for people to explore other parts of Australia/New Zealand while they're here, then I'm all for that. :)

Last time I was in NZ was a January and it was very wet. I am scared of you have even wetter months.

I'm in New Zealand right now! It's pleasantly surprisingly not that wet, which I thought was meant to be impossible.

It's awesome to me that so many people want to kick on around Australia too! I'd love to join in some sightseeing especially in parts of the country I haven't seen!

I'm interested, but I don't see a world where I can get a 2-week span of time off from work to make the trip

It's ambitious but that doesn't mean I'm not interested.

I love that we all get to use the excuse of flying half way across the world to avoid first elimination.
Looking for love in Alderaan places.

I will not accept that reasoning for why I end up first boot.

I'm /in for this at 98% as well. I'd need to be certain to save money and to make sure that I don't fuck up with american immigration somehow but.... yeah, let's just say I'm really in for it

G'day again!

Now seems like as good a time as any to start figuring out some early details for Survivormeet: 'Straya. Below is a form where DV and I would like to gather some further details to help us narrow down dates and plan the event:

Survivormeet: 'Straya - Register Interest

This form is not a formal registration to attend
. That will come later. Right now we're trying to get an idea of what works for most people. If you have expressed interest in coming along, or even if you are still weighing it up, then this form is for you!

Separately, if you know
for sure
that you will not be able to attend, but would like to help with game design or planning, please reach out to DeasVail or myself, as we'd love your input :)

I have indicated my interest in this, but I'm afraid it's likely to be more aspirational than likely.
