Before we begin, some ground rules.

Boring and Long Rules List

MafiaScum rules.
Follow them. They take precedence over these.
Mod communication.
Don't quote it, especially private ones. That means role PMs.
Private communication.
Only use the threads we provide. Don't PM other players, use other PTs for talking about this game, or use any other medium to communicate about the game to other players. We're fine if you mention the votecount in-thread.
Games.
You're in this one. Play to win it.
Cryptography.
We don't like it. Don't hash your posts or use a Caesarean cypher or anything like that.
Small text.
Don't use it. Anything smaller than the Small size will get bumped up in size, except for [\ooc] tags.
Games of chance.
Don't play them. Provable RNG is prohibited.
The L-Word.
Don't use it.
Pronouns.
Respect them. If this is an issue, PM us about it. We'll put them in the next votecount.

After death
you are permitted one contentless bah post. Posting content in a bah post, making multiple bah posts, or bahposting in PTs will get you warned and the bah censored.

Ballot Counting

VOTE: Garlic Bread Society to cast. UNVOTE: without a name on the inside is fine, same with including the vote name. You may use nicknames or shortenings, so long as it's clear who you're referring to.
We do not accept bolded votes as a rule of thumb.
If we think it counts, it counts.
If we can't tell who you're referring to, it won't.
Hammer by simple majority.
Once majority is reached, no new or changed votes will be permitted.
You may cast a vote for no-hammer.

You may make

20 posts per 24 hours

. This is a

rolling total

, so you get a post back after it's been 24 hours since your last one. If you make more than 20 posts in a 24 hour period, we will warn you, and you'll draw from your reserve. You have a

for the whole game. Deplete this and your daily allotment of posts, and you are allowed to make

one

post with a vote in it and nothing more per in-game day. Post anything else while you're out of posts to make, and there will be consequences.

You should be good, as long as your posts are neat and tidy, and have a fair bit of content in them.

Prods, Replacements, and Activity

Prods will be issued every 72 hours without game-advancing content. Even something as simple as "Cook is scum" or "Let's vote Cook" counts as advancing content.
If you are prodded, you have 24 hours to respond or I will search for a replacement.
If you are prodded 3 times throughout the game, I'll search for a replacement.
If you are on V/LA, instead, I will poke you every 72 hours. Two pokes is a prod.

Mafia

has daytalk. Their PT will never lock.

Town Follower

will learn results in the form "Your target performed (a/no) (investigating/protecting/killing) action." They can receive multiple results in the same night, vis a vis a multitasking Mafia member.

Mafia power roles

are multitasking, and can perform both their power role action and the factional kill in the same night.

Town Tracker

can't tell the difference between their target performing one action or multiple actions on the same target. They can receive multiple results in the same night, vis a vis a multitasking Mafia member.
