I'm a Complex Follower. I can check a player to find out what kind of action they took that night (investigative, protection, kill, etc...).

The Complex modifier means I'll be able to differentiate a Power Role who didn't take any action from a Vanilla Villager with no actions. I'll receive "No Result" from Vanilla Villagers and something like "You didn't see anything" from idle Power Roles (

@mod, can you confirm this part?

). But of course, I can always be tripped by a roleblock.

I'm also Neighbor with you, Heip. We share a Neighborhood that's separate from this Wolf Lair. Sounds redundant, I know, but wait until you hear this next part:

I'm Informed of two things: First, our Neighborhood is the only Neighborhood. Second, there is at least one Backup Neighbor. This means that, when one of us dies, some Villager will show up in our Neighborhood.

If your target is not Vanilla, takes no action, and your action doesn't fail for other reasons, you will be told that "You discover that PLAYER performed no action last Night".

If your action fails for any reason (for instance, because your target is Vanilla) you will be told that "Your Follower action failed and you get no result".

However, you have misunderstood some of your role:
~ If you target someone aligned with you, your action will fail.
~ you don't roleblock your target; you roleSTOP them (along with sending mail). Meaning no player (other than you) can target them successfully, but they can still act as normal.
