My tone was way off at the beginning of the game and Dannflor nailed it. I wasn't even trying to mimic my town game, I was just in a really bad place mentally. It ended up working to my advantage because Aureal/Alianna read it as town me, and meow was able to echo those reads to perfection

tbh i genuinely don't think sidetracked is a common term and my explanation for why i thought aureal might be the tracker was true

but me thinking aureal was the tracker probably wasn't why i responded like that!!! idk i was super tired and whatever happened was subconscious but there was possibly a scumslip there

if i had a cent for every time i've committed an unforgivable mechanical mistake as scum immediately before elo and won anyway this year, i'd have two cents. which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

I wouldn't crumb like that. If I'm gonna crumb a role, it's going to be for good reason and something pretty indisputable, like what T3 did. Crumbing tracker never really even occurred to me, those song lyrics aside (which was mostly because I was once again referencing the last game with iamveryhappy where he was the tracker). I've never been run up and forced to claim (with one exception but that was an anticipated part of my strategy that game) so needing to prove I'm the real PR isn't really something I expect. Also I've never rolled a PR in an open setup like this either. And here I thought I'd be able to survive better than most since I'm never a nightkill target.

well we didn't have a ton of better kill options n2 - i think tbh over d2 me and black were the most townread players

i didn't really know how you would react to rolling a pr! the 'sidetracked' thing was a pretty minor thing, i didn't think it was like suuuper meaningful. i thought you might be from how you responded to snivy and that, but it wasn't an especially strong read - i don't think i even brought it up to black. but like, we knew it was you or iavh or dannflor, and within that range we have pretty good odds of hitting the tracker just through sheer luck
