Ruleset

(shamelessly taken from Hectic by way of Prism, with my own modifications)

1. Fundamentals

• All site-wide rules apply. Read and respect them.
  
• This is a game. Have fun, and keep the game fun for other people. This might be the most important rule.
  
• There is no personal communication regarding this game outside of this gamethread & associated PTs.
  
• Do not quote any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, backup moderator, or fellow players. Do not reference timestamps of private communication.
  
• Do not engage in the use of trust tells.
  
• Heated discussion and debate is allowed, but personal attacks are not. I reserve the right to protect my players, and all other community members. Please PM myself and the backup moderator if you feel something needs our immediate intervention.
  
• If you make a post indicating that the game is having a negative impact on your out of game relationships or well being, you will be warned or forcibly replaced, depending on severity. If you believe the game is having a negative impact on your life, send me a PM rather than posting about it in the game thread.
  
• Play to your Win Condition.

2. Phases & Activity

• Please post at least once every 48 hours. If you fail to do so, you will be prodded. If you fail to respond to said prod within 24 hours, you will be replaced.
  
• Contentless "prodges" do not count for the purpose of resetting the prod timer.
  
• At the time you would receive a third prod, or fail to respond to a prod by posting in thread within 24 hours (or by PM if at Night), you will be force replaced.
  
• This game uses a unique setup with no traditional eliminations. Instead, the game takes place over a combined deadline of
  21 days
  .
  
• If the town has not achieved its win condition before the deadline, the mafia automatically wins.
  
• Trusts should be done using bold tags, like so:
  I trust playername
  or
  Trust: playername
  . Trusts hidden inside spoiler tags will not count. Abbreviating names is acceptable as long as it is clear who is being trusted. If I think it should count as a trust, it will.
  
• You are allowed to rescind your trust if it has not aleady been accepted. Post something to the effect of
  I do not trust playername
  or
  Untrust: playername
  .
  
• A player can only have one trust active at a time. If a player offers a new trust, their previous trust will be rescinded.
  
• Players cannot extend trust during the first 24 hours of the game. Attempts to trust during that period will not count.
  
• The following is a list of outlawed shenanigans:
  • Using invisible text, codes, cryptography, etc.
    
  • Editing your posts (if you have the power to do so)
    
  • Quoting any PTs you may have access to
• If any of these offenses are committed, I have the right to force-replace you from the game, or, with listmod permission, modkill you.

3. Miscellaneous

• Do not impersonate the moderator.
  
• Feel free to address me in-thread, but if there is a large egregious mistake please PM me directly. Small matters like errors in the votecount can be posted in-thread.
  
• I have the final say on any issue. If you disagree with any action or inaction taken by me, feel free to PM myself or the relevant listmod,

the setup for this game is Trust Fall. be sure to read it. i have have made some alterations to the mechanics of the setup, so

pay attention to the details in this post!

Setup

Mechanics

• Nightless
  
• There are no eliminations during the day; instead, there is a Trust Fall mechanic. To Trust Fall, one player must post in bold: “I trust X” (or something similar) and the trustee, X, must reciprocate. Together, they will exit the game and their alignments are revealed.
  
• A player can only have one trust offer active at a given time. If a player makes a new offer of trust to someone else, their previous offer is automatically rescinded.
  
• Players will be unable to extend offers of trust until 24 hours after the game has started. Trusts made before this period has ended will not count.
  
• Mafia cannot Trust Fall together.
  
• Mafia win when they have both exited the game. Town win when they reach parity with the mafia.

Full disclaimer: I've played this setup before and I joined this game because I remember it being super goofy and not serious. More specifically I remember it having the possibility of lasting for forever.
