I don't think catching the thief through mechanical deduction and uncovering lies is unfun. I think it's fine because that's what you are supposed to do this game. This is not a game of Mafia.
In a game of Mafia I would feel cheated out of a game if someone managed to mechanically solve the game Day 1, with no reads needed.
But this is not a game of Mafia.
I will however feel cheated out of a game if this game concludes by an automatic win tying 6 people or something, because it means we didn't do what we were supposed to do - solve the puzzle.

We currently DO NOT have a way to autowin if we keep to the spirit of the rules, because there's no way to confirm one or even two people as the only possible cheese thief candidate(s).

I think Silverclaw is towny enough for me to trust Skygazer, so from my POV that leaves Math and Snivy. I also think Math had a pretty towny response to the push on him, while with you it feels a bit like you are squirming under the pressure.

I think objectively I've been pretty uncheese thief - you even mentioned that I was drawing attention like a follower would, so unless you think it's WIFOM or something I don't understand why you'd call me thief. So objectively you should be voting math unless you disagree with the read on Silverclaw AND you think Math is really towny (which I really don't think you think).

So yeah.

Rules as written the game involves a simultaneous vote where everyone points in person. I moved the way the rules work to fit the forum setting more but based on the conversation this has revealed that it may be game breaking. This is obviously a problem.

As such I'm proposing we move to a system where there are no votes at daytime and instead people will all submit a vote to me after deadline via pm. I would like to see what people think of this.

The deadline is at (expired on 2023-10-09 22:05:00).

what even is your plan?? Like unless you're partnered with DE, I'm confused why you'd think stopping here nets you a win? Specifically since last you stated, you thought skygazer was most likely cheese thief which is currently very far from the consensus. (Unless you changed your mind there?)
