When I saw the roll for this setup, I thought town would have a difficult time of it with only a Jailkeeper PR

My backup mod, Prism had the same thought when I let him know what the setup would be.

He also was impressed with TimmerRC's night play!

I'm grateful to Prism for agreeing to backup mod, though I fortunately was mostly timely with vote counts, flips, daystarts, etc. Backup mods = peace of mind!

Thank you for modding Ffery! It's been a while since I've been alive to play an endgame (although technically we never actually reached ELO but ehhh I count it) and it was fun, if a little stressful at times

The replacements definitely hurt scum a lot, honestly Black/VIP scumteam would have probably screwed me.

Yeah I was pretty bummed I had to replace out of a scum game. Life sucks sometimes but it's slightly better now at least

Like if you hadn't jailkept Dann and blocked him there resulting in a final four of me, Dann, Knott and Kittie? I would have literally never voted Dann there unless something truly bad happened.

Watching you almost weasel your way out of one of the worst situations I've seen was very entertaining. I love the way you play the game. Super unlucky with the JK targets but you almost got there

Also to answer your question of why I self voted - yes, I did think it would be easier to solve the game after I died. I knew if I didn't die D2 I would die in ELo and that would suck.

Dann is very persuasive. He played almost perfectly. I would have unvoted myself at the end there because I don't think the others were going to vote him. Still, even if he lived, he had an uphill battle ahead of him

A huge thanks to Dannflor, Merlyn and Whemestar for replacing in! Having quick replacement volunteers is such a gift to the whole player list. The replacements had an impact, but not nearly the impact of slots being empty for >24 hours.

As well as new players, we had a couple of players who had not been active at MS for 8 or so years. A lot has changed regarding MS games and site culture since then. It was great to see them adapt quickly, and also great to see the rest of the player list help them along on the learning curve!

Aaand...thanks for all the mod kudos. I appreciate it, and I always like to hear about improvements I can make as well as the opportunity to explain why I do things certain ways. There are so many ways to mess up as a mod. Probably most of my idiosyncrasies come down to preventing mistakes happening more than once -- mine, and those I've observed watching other mods.

I'll admit that day 1 threw me for a loop, lol, I was completely unable to get involved properly, but once it came time for night actions I was def more in my element, I love putting on the "if I'm bad, who am I targeting" hat, lol...

But dann your play at the end was so noncommittal that it had me quite thrown, I started second guessing everything and even started to wonder if Comet was quietly coasting through this game as scum. Well played considering the corner you were in!
