I had every single read correct with the exception of Firebringer and Bulge slot flipped. Beginning of Day 3, I had Fire at the lowest, Bulge at the top.

I asked and asked multiple times for reasons other than setup that Fire was scum after I went through, and Fire/Drew were the only two players giving anything productive, with the exception of the occasional Nono pop in.

To get Fire faded, it was necessary to get my vote, but nobody wanted to give cases.

This game proves that it didn’t matter if town got hit because sometimes the game state just needs to move on. You don’t need to hit scum every day phase, you have to setup gamestates where you can hit them.

Yes, it could have ended on Day 3, but where were the other votes going to come from? We had Hu Tao/Geraint. Even Nono was trying for Dann. I would have easily gone Dann.

Titus slot was the only one on an overall level that was going to be able to get the acquired votes necessary. Had we faded a Mason on the Day, the game still would have ended the same day.

Need to give reasons and cases to get people to flip, otherwise it’s just “this is scum, no this is scum” which doesn’t lead to people changing their votes, it leads to them solidifying on their own.

I almost didn’t want to fade Firebringer out of principal. Hu Tao just walled instead of giving reasons when I asked multiple times for reasons other than setup. 

I had the most reasons for Firebringer scum as I posted early in the Day 3.

I saw the Hu Tao/Nono connections, and when they claimed Masons, I believed them. I believed them throughout, but I still standby fading a Mason would have lead to a game win for town anyways. People just don’t like to hear that.

Hu Tao, you have great gut reads, try to vocalize why, because I wanted to be convinced by you, not just told Fire was scum. You had the right read, now show us the way. On a game state level, Fire was just not going to get faded without me joining on them, so the pinch point was convincing me.

I play devil’s advocate with it, I like to be proven wrong. But ya gotta prove me wrong. Hindsight reads are nothing.

You saw this exact thing happen recently too.

And one of my main catchphrases, ‘Doesn’t matter if you know they’re scum if you can’t get them faded.’ I usually use it as scum, but it applies overall.

But at the end of the day, one thing is for sure—

When I town read Firebringer relentlessly, town ends up winning :shrug:

Alright, rants done.

This was a really fun game overall, and even though it sounds like im aggravated, it’s just being passionate and expression all the emotion from the game, which is an overall good thing.

Nono solve was great, and their mindset in Day 3 was fantastic seeing that Dann was by far the right fade when considering game state and accessibility to being able to get the wagon completed.

Drew, great hiding of role. Played that very well. I knew something was weird about you being Informed of that, and Geraint being informed making the entire Neighborhood informed of it is something that would have eased that so much.

Una....your paranoia was out of control this game and it was like the basis of your entire play.
