Just read over the second Hu Tao + Aureal hood and I feel like Aureal is the scum here.
In Andante’s thread she mentioned trying to make you think she SRed me but actually scumreading you, Hu Tao. Makes me think she’s trying to play both sides. Not enthused by her saying she thought me/HPE were scum in a way that initially looks like it implies thinking only one of us is scum in your hood.
I also think the NK order feels more like it comes from Aureal here.

" It's exactly what I expected, which is why I gave her some extra nudges to target Enchant, rather than change my tune and clue her in that I'm actively reassessing my reads and have her maybe realize that I've looked at the associatives and tied her to HPE rather than you. Why would scumAureal rather have you here than Enchant, the lackadaisical replacement who already went along with me sheeping dead town's read?

Idk, I feel like I’ve been in a compromised position for most of the game, some of that is my fault, mainly for what I was doing during D4, but part of that comes from Hu Tao’s reflexive approach of suspecting my role as a scum one. Which I think makes her town because I have had a lot of beef with that approach in recent games but it seems to be town who do it more than scum and I have legit seen Hu Tao do the same sort of thing in a prior game.
Ftr that’s more of a recent consideration, my initial lean came from the feeling that I was being set up and your play felt more in line with that worldview if you are scum.
