This is in contrast to the curated Approved Setups and Normal Roles lists which require listmod intervention to change, and the uncurated Setups and Roles lists which are meant to be comprehensive.
A setup is Recommended if it meets these criteria:
It has been seen in at least one completed game.
It has not been deemed to be unfun, unbalanced, or broken.
It has not been superseded by a new version of the setup.
A role or modifier is Known if it meets these criteria:
It has been seen in at least two completed games. (one-off roles aren't considered known roles)
It has not been deemed to be unfun or game-breaking.
All Approved Setups are Recommended Setups even if they don't meet the criteria, and all Normal Roles are Known Roles even if they don't meet the criteria.
Currently, bastard roles that meet the Known criteria are Known roles.

This thread is to discuss what setups should be added to or removed from the Recommended Open Setup list, what roles or modifiers should be added to or removed from the Known Roles list, and to discuss the lists themselves.
I am also looking for Recommended Setups and Known Roles that are not on the wiki yet so they can be added to the wiki.
