This game is so weird. I kinda get what HPE was getting at now. I feel like I have lost all grasp of reality and what I should even be looking for when playing mafia, and in theory Town should have the game in the bag.

Do you have a good example of a Town game that played out like this for you Black, because I have raised eyebrows at your d2 progression a couple times

You'll just have to look through them. I'm pretty sure my reads are all over the place in every single town game I've played so it shouldn't be hard to find

Your vote on Margot is because she is playing differently which is not convincing for me. Many players will play differently regardless of alignment and that is nai. If it comes to consolidating I could vote her.

Why does town!Margot visit tris instead of me? She thought tris was a Mason with Ausuka

Also my Ausuka read was entirely because I thought she was mason, so I'm even worse at this game than I thought haha

Because others were casting shade, and I figured that if I was right about the detector detector role, it would be a potential clear

As for Ausuka, I've never seen townier town play in my life. I can comb through the ISO to grab examples, but yeah, I'm town locking Ausuka in this game 100%

In response to the finger pointing, I don't know what you all want from me lol. I came in to a game late, I was recovering from, and then relapsed back into, a health downswing, and d1 is my least favourite part of mafia because it's all just people swinging into the dark going off absolutely nothing whatsoever other than 'vibes', all of which meant I wasn't particularly keen to duck back into a game where everyone was posting off high emotions, and felt justified sitting on high horses and supreme confidence on reads based on negligible information.

The Ausuka read was a vibes thing, I thought it was a good read, I don't know what to tell you.

Why does town!Margot put someone she thinks is a Mason and super townie at e-1? I think Margot did think Ausuka was a Mason, but I think she approached this like scum would. Trying to sneak onto the wagon to misfade the Mason

idt the reason margot voted ausuka is inherently suspicious bc it was clearly self pres (its not for oneself to project on someone else what they would do in that situation - unless ausuka had been claimed it doesn't matter) - but the rest of the stuff is eye raising , and I have yet to seen the work I was expecting from town!Margot in a scenario like this.

I actually didn't think about the self-preservation angle. That's a decent point. Considering the strength of her Ausuka read I feel like it could have made sense for town!her to put Rogues at 2 votes there. She had Rogues in her solve and that would have put the Rogues wagon one vote shy of Ausuka's and hers. I guess there's a chance she felt super threatened and just wanted anyone dead but her but it really just doesn't vibe with her "locktown 100%/I think you're a mason" read on Ausuka
