Funny thought i had after i died?
If bell had been blown up by the vest, after we elimmed Hu tao, that's 2 deaths, Hu Tao wouldnt have been able to fire either. Either that or Bell survives i guess.

Honestly, idk how the maelstrom of redirections worked, i do wonder if my role would've been redirected or MariaR's if she had been one of my targets N1.
I also dont know how im higher in NAR than a bus driver but not a redirector, but welp, i guess you gotta do what you gotta do with so many redirections.

I knew that most players would probably ask for dayvig and other killing roles, but I was determined for the game not to decimate itself by day 2. I kept the unusual killing roles, and loved the bomb vest that lemon.tangerine requested, though I tweaked it some.

Instead of bullet hell, this game was redirect hell.

And btw, I loved all the quirky roles that were suggested and tried to make room for every one of them!

Heh, i thought the Instigator role was pretty cool, at least i havent seen one that forces 2 people to target each other before, so i thought i'd give it a try. I picked it mostly for fun, then realized later that if i picked 2 scum, the chances of redirecting the NK towards themselves was pretty high lol.

    Divine Protector - You may render a player immune to actions from non-Town-aligned players.
    Recharged Universal Finder - You may choose a role and learn if a player is the role you chose or not. This ability is refunded if it fails.
    Treeviver - You may revive a dead player as a treestump, allowing them to post again.
    Thaumic Coach - You may target a player to inform them that they may act as if they had no modifiers the next night. This action will fail if it targets a Vanilla Townie or a player who is neither Town nor Vanilla.
    Isolator - You may make a player immune to all abilities that night (including passive abilities).

    what if i gave a strapped vest with bombs during the night, that was a ticking time bomb until the next night, and have a chance to cut the correct wire between 5 (so a 1/5 chance to live) you can change the number of wires to 3 for balancing.
    Giving someone swat gear, as in a bulletproof vest and a 1-shot gun. For fun you could add a chance where the gun malfunctions and shoots the player when they try shooting the gun at someone.
    Investigative action that tells you someones alignment + the abilities they have or havent used
    lastly, just a normal vigilante 1-shot.

  16. Titus
    1-shot combined watcher and loyal messenger with the restriction that the only message must be a tailored unique compliment to brighten their day. No hinting about your identity or reads.
    1-shot evil twin, you have the same role as a good player. If the good team eliminates the good player, good loses. Vigging is fine. The good player is informed they are the good twin. Twins last the whole game
    1-use novice role copier (restrictions: select a player during the day, role will not activate if the target hasn't used their ability. Does not steal the ability.)
    1-shot strongwilled protector of negative abilities. No negative abilities work on target.
    1-shot Cerenovous. You force your target to claim to be a role you pick. If they claim to be anything else, you kill them. Lasts one day only.

  17. Ircher
    1-Shot Day Vigilante
    1-Shot Inventor (1-Shot Roleblocker)
    1-Shot Global Faith Healer (chatmafia.net variant: when used, will attempt to protect all players from a single kill. However, if someone else successfully attempts to protect a player, all protections on that player will fail that night instead.)
    1-Shot Activated Companion (Learns the information upon using the ability)
    1-Shot Activated Octuplet Voter (Ability takes effect on the day after using the ability; alternatively if you allow it to be used in the day as well, then it lasts until the end of the day phase)

I was soooo tempted by the N0 kingmaker Dunnstral requested, but just couldn't introduce that kind of randomness and remove the rest of the players' agency on day 1.

The second Maria misread her role I essentially go "Well that's not good, she has to be careful with that because it can put the team in autoloss"

Fires it off N1 for near-autoloss, then
actually publicly claims it
into a hard CC to seal putting scum into Day 2 mechanical autoloss. Two thrown bones via mod language to tip off that she misread the power go unnoticed.

Which is a shame because she only really made that one mistake and played absolutely exceptionally otherwise.

Then
somehow things got crazier
, Maria should get mechanically wrecked three or four more times...only to miraculously and repeatedly fail upwards into a survivable position until Drew finally put a stop to it.

Absolutely insane game to witness.

my dead neighborizer was so slow but it's probably fine for balance reasons for it to be so slow.

Most of the balance stuff is moot with the Night 1 shenanigans+most of the scumteam getting steamrolled off of dayplay even without it but I probably would have stripped an investigative somewhere, and I regret we couldn't fit a dayvig in.

The major mechanical play imo was Cabd successfully linking up with Titus to get the double hider off, and obviously Titus watching a mafia player resolved a lot. I saw the watcher interaction possibility but Hider getting chained so effectively was great.
