I read the dead thread. The mech this game was really weird with the way different tiers of the same type of action resolved around NAR and it's a lot easier to see form outside of fog of war.

But in the end the spreadsheet proved to be the best decision ever.

I knew that most players would probably ask for dayvig and other killing roles, but I was determined for the game not to decimate itself by day 2. I kept the unusual killing roles, and loved the bomb vest that lemon.tangerine requested, though I tweaked it some.

Instead of bullet hell, this game was redirect hell.

And btw, I loved all the quirky roles that were suggested and tried to make room for every one of them!

Did Greedant actually choose their roles?

Hello. I was Greedant.

I would like to say that I did not get my first choice, probably because it was so close to cabd's hider, which was a mazonizer (which is inherently weak modified). So, crumb your target, if you die its a guilty, if you live its an inno, so it works out about the same. (Although mine did have the added strength of self clearing too.)

My second choice was specifically an invest that targeted a dead player, because that seems like a cool mechanic that you don't normally see in a game. Which I still stand by. It saved the game!

I want to say that I might have spotted you for your day 2 posts, which imo were a lot closer to your normal posts, but I did not read day 2 until after you repped into your main, so there was a curse of knowledge, so hard to say confidently.

Third party claims in Ffery games are best done with flavor that is unique from the main game, but complimentary. Additionally the role will be able to town side and also will have a win condition that rewards consistently good play, not good luck.

Morph had a pretty shitty 3p draw once and we have had endless conversations over the years on what is "fair" to expect out of a third party player in a vacuum.

Probably. But I did not keep up with the game very well during that time.

I read half of day 1, had 2 lock town reads, and a scum read on RH, but stopped reading before a single person voted RH.

By the time I came back and read to catch up, it was day 3, and you had a guilty on light.

If bell had been blown up by the vest, after we elimmed Hu tao, that's 2 deaths, Hu Tao wouldnt have been able to fire either. Either that or Bell survives i guess.

Well I pondered the same thing and the mod said that the vest would resolve in twilight. So presumably it would all work

The reason I didn't put much emphasis on the "hard mechanical cc" between MariaR and Ircher is that I've been burned from assuming things like this before, and often what people assume is a cc is that both players are just town and something else happened. In this game MariaR was super open with their claim and so was Ircher, neither was in response to pressure and both could have kept quiet. For that reason it felt like something else had happened.

I am so sorry to my scum team for my play this game I feel like I let a lot of ya down. Probably should've killed Drew last night but I figured he'd go for the auto guilty so I waited a night phase.

I somehow made an unwinnable game semi winnable then decided to make it not winnable again. Regardless, this was really fun to play and town did pretty well making it so my plans got changed 20 times. I tip my hat. Thanks for making my return so much fun.
