[SETUP] Thrill on a No Kill

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Mon Feb 05, 2024 1:43 pm

This is not my setup, it was recovered from the old cards and designed for in-person play.

1
Mafia Exploder

1
Mafia Goon

1
Mafia Recruitable Traitor

1
Doctor

1
Jailkeeper

6
Vanilla Townies

Presumably, the Exploder would reveal themselves and target someone else during the day to kill, but it is also possible they would have acted at night.
The Traitor's role is unusually written as such: "You do not know who the Mafia are. You learn their identities if you are targeted by their kill."

looks somewhat balanced ? Not sure what purpose the exploder serves as i belive it's already somewhat scumsided

maybe in person play has a difference balance

maybe exploder was intended to get around a doctor protection? i.e. doc protects jk and jk blocks the goon, so you use exploder to get around the protection

I guess that I designed this.

The Exploder is to get around Doctrain and prevent day 1 Jailkeeper claim.

I actually think it's pretty balanced, even moreso for face to face.

I think it couldn't hurt to let the Traitor know Mafia's identities from the start though and I would play it as such.
